Born in San Antonio, Texas on July 15, 1936, Chuck attended grade school at the restored San Jose Mission in South San Antonio. As a young man, he spent four years at a Franciscan Seminary in Chicago studying languages, philosophy and the classics. He finished his education at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. After a twenty-five year career in general merchandising with several Fortune 500 companies and a career in his own manufacturing company, he left the corporate world to do the one thing he had always wanted to do; write and pursue his interest in art.
Chuck and his editor-wife, Janet live in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. In addition to writing and traveling extensively, Chuck is an active artist working in acrylics and pencil, but considers stone sculpturing to be his main art interest.
His novels tend to reflect his love of history and its connection to the present. Currently he has six E-books on the market and is working on the seventh, book three of the Ankh Trilogy, which is expected to be published in the fall of 2012.
