Product Description

Product Description

Episodes 17 to 24 from the second season of the popular US sitcom. In 'The Hospital Show' Stan has had a heart attack and Karen is called to the hospital. In 'Sweet and Sour Charity' Grace wins concert tickets from a radio show and decides to volunteer to help out at a local community centre but her social calender gets in the way. In 'An Affair to Remember' Will and Grace are asked to be best man and maid of honour at Rob and Ellen's wedding but the wedding is called off when Ellen finds out that Grace slept with Rob. And in 'Girls Interrupted' Grace is convinced that Val is a kleptomaniac and Jack and Karen go to an ex-homosexual meeting.

From Amazon.co.uk

Hit American sitcom Will and Grace is as perky as Friends and as wittily urbane as Frasier. The premise concerns Will (Eric McCormack), a mildly uptight lawyer who agrees to have as a flatmate his best friend, interior designer Grace (Debra Messing). Their relationship has all the hallmarks of lovers--emotional dependency, little things that get on each others' nerves, strong mutual interests and volcanic arguments. The only snag is that while Grace is straight, Will is gay.

Though not shy of poking sharp fun at that situation, Will and Grace is among sitcom's most potent and sophisticated antidotes to homophobia. Though initially a little too pleased with its own camp pertness, the show grows and grows on you with successive episodes, finally becoming indispensable. It also benefits from secondary characters Jack (Sean P Hayes) and Karen (Megan Mullally), also gay and straight respectively, both outrageously and hilariously irresponsible characters: he a free spirit and freeloader, she's "working" as Grace's assistant even though she doesn't need the money, having married it.

Despite its diamond and rapid-fire punchlines, Will and Grace conveys enough sense of the main characters' lovelorn predicament to prevent it from becoming too cute. --David Stubbs --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

Will & Grace didn't take away Emmy awards for "Best Comedy", "Best Supporting Actress" and "Best Supporting Actor" in 2000 for nothing. Since the show's very first episode, it has had amazing reviews and a growing number of fans that follow it religiously. Eric McCormack (Will) and Debra Messing (Grace) have argueably the best chemistry on television today. Their unhealthy relationship is heartwarming and hilarious at the same time - from her freaking out to his meddling in her life. It is however even more so Grace's rich alcoholic assistant, who only works to keep her "down to earth" and away from the husband and Will's gay best friend Jack who steal the show. Jack and Karen become best friends and you see their relationship develop from the first episode. They're rude, they're evil and noone can get enough of them. Now Will & Grace is available on DVD, the classic episodes from the First Season are available to buy. Episodes that introduce Grace's showtune singing mom who thinks Will & Grace should get married despite the fact he is gay, Will's brother sleeping with Grace as well as Grace trying to prove herself as a good business woman and Jack massaging Karen. This is comedy at its best! Unmissable for anyone who has ever seen this fine show.

Series 3 of Will & Grace sees fresh comedy antics from the true stars of the show, Jack & Karen. The season opener contains one of the most memorable scenes of the series – Jack teaching Grace the dance steps to Britney Spear’s, “Oops! I did it again”.
Once again, Karen steals the show and as episode 4 proves, there can only be one Karen, no cheap imitations – Grace accepts an intern to work at the office (played by guest star Natasha Lyonne) who begins to develop more than a passing resemblance to Karen.
Volume One contains episodes that are as innovative as ever. The show is contagiously funny and is essential viewing for anyone with a sense of humour or simply needs some cheering up.
Episode 1: New Will City
Episode 2: Fear and Clothing
Episode 3: Husbands and Trophy Wives
Episode 4: Girl Trouble

Quite an original series when it first started with quick wit and great character interaction.

Enjoyable but not quite up to the standard of Friends or Frasier.

The first 3 series were the best. It certainly faded in the later seasons.

Season 2 was certainly one of the better ones.

Currently very good value.

Will and Grace has gone from strength to strength. This collection has one of my favorite episodes on it, 'The Hospital Show' where Karens husband stan has what is initially thought to be a heart attack. Karen is soon told that he has 'acute angina' which Karen mis-hears to be something else (use your imagination!) and I was almost crying laughing.
So here are 4 more episodes of Will & Grace, where they all shime, but especially Karen & Jack who at times steal the show with one liners that are hysterical.
Long live Will & Grace, and the camp new york sit com..

Wow, just when I thought my Will & Grace phase had come to an end I stand corrected, having previous DVD's of Will & Grace I have decided to carry on my collection. This DVD is four amazingly humourous episodes from season four, here is a brief summary of the episodes:
The Third Wheel Gets The Grace
Will is back from France and Grace's boyfriend Nathan (Woody Harrelson) is a bit jealous about the friends' cutesy relationship – until he experiences the horrors of a shopping trip with Grace.
Past And Presents
Grace struggles to find the right birthday present for Nathan. The first gift is trumped by a better one from Karen; then Nathan hates the second, more expensive present. Meanwhile, Will is upset that a guy (Adam Goldberg) who bullied him at school has joined his law firm.
Crouching Father, Hidden Husband
Grace agrees to go to the school prom as the date of Jack's 12-year-old son Elliot (Michael Anagarano). Meanwhile, Karen regrets crying wolf as Will refuses to help when the FBI calls.
Prison Blues
Jack takes Will to a class run by a crusty old acting coach (Eileen Brennan) to help him overcome stage fright, while Karen visits tax evader Stanley in prison and wants to get Grace out of her luxurious home.
So unless you don;t like Will & Grace, then buy it!!! It has to be one of the most funniest shows on television at this time.

Wow!! I have been in love with 'Will and Grace' since I saw Season 1 on Channel 4 last Autumn and I have been waiting for these videos for months . . . well worth the wait! This box set takes you back to the very beginning, Grace's failed engagement, Will's afair, Karen's marridge crisis and not forgetting 'Just Jack', (how could you ever forget!!) Every moment is a gem, jam-packed with puns, the acting's great, the theme music V. catchy and Jack and Karen . . . hilarious!! A great mixture of quick witted 'Friends', 'Suddenly Susan', 'Spin City', 'Cheers' - style American humour with the usual portion of sentimental stuff, but the perfect mix. Buy it, watch it, sit back and prepare to laugh big time. 'And, ooh, those shoes with that skirt honey? No!!'
