About the Author

Michael McIndoe was born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland. The former professional footballer played for Coventry City, MK Dons, Bristol City, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Barnsley, Derby County, Doncaster Rovers, Yeovil Town, Hereford United and Luton Town. He played over 500 games during his 15 year career with some notable achievements. In 2003, after winning the league title with Yeovil Town and making club history, he won Conference Player of the Year after 22 managers unanimously voted for him. In 2004 he again won PFA Division Three Player of the Year after Doncaster Rovers won the league title that season. His proudest moment though was being called up to play for Scotland. Michael enjoys climbing the Scottish Munros, golf and skiing.
