Product Description

(2-LP set) Wild Things Run Fast is Joni Mitchell's eleventh studio album and her first for Geffen Records. Released in 1982, it represents her departure from jazz to a more '80s pop sound. The more rhythmic nature of the music on this album was influenced by Steely Dan, Talking Heads and The Police. Featured artists include Wayne Shorter, James Taylor and Lionel Richie. Mastered by Bernie Grundman from the Original Masters.

4.0 out of 5 stars First Purchase 30 Jun. 2015

This is my first Joni Mitchell CD and I find it enjoyable and entertaining. I will be exploring more of her music based on this disc. I would agree with David Crosby's recent statement that she is the leading songwriter/singer of the time. Wishing and hoping she will have the best recovery possible from her recent medical event.

I am a Joni Mitchell fan, no doubt about it. What can I say - she is inspiring and completely in touch with the inner workings of women born in the latter part of the 20th century. Thank you to Joni for sharing her mind and insight. This album speaks to me of the progression in my life. One must really listen and they can hear the wisdom and poetry in Joni Mitchell. She does not disappoint in this one.
