This is book two of Danielle Stewart's Barrington Billionaire Series which also coincides with her aunties Ruth Cardello's and Jeannette Winters books of the same name and all the books link in with each other.

Mathew Kalling knows better than to ever get involved with a gorgeous party girl. You can’t be charged with running an oil empire while still think a wild woman is definitely a safe bet. But once Mathew’s had a taste, he just can’t seem to stay away from her.

Trying to sweep the gorgeous Jessica Thorne off her feet and hopefully she’ll head for the hills for Mathew. Nothing seems sends Jessica running so much faster than grand gestures and fairy-tale promises. Do fairy-tale promises exist? But when Jessica's back is against the wall will she finally take the risk and let Mathew and let love whisk her away?

This book is available in both the original version and a sweet version.

I Love how Danielle writes i wish more than 5*s were available.

5.0 out of 5 stars He wants forever and she wants to run even though the passion is off the charts. 9 Nov. 2016

Danielle Stewart - Wild Eyes (The Barrington Billionaires Book 2)

We met Mathew Kalling in Book 1 (Fierce Love) as well as Jessica Thorne who is Libby Saint-Jane best friend. Now, they get their own story.

Mathew may be considered “straight laced” who believes that everything has a place and his life will include the right women, 2.5 kids and a white picket fence. Of course, this is boring but safe. Mathew knows that he should never get involved with Jessica because he believes her to be a party girl.

The passion that they both feel when they are together is off the charts and Mathew doesn’t want to give her up. Jessica, however, will run a mile if she thinks that someone wants a forever. Mathew must Convince her that they are right for each other and that he wants her forever.
3.0 out of 5 stars Two Annoying Contrivances, Otherwise Enjoyable 18 Sept. 2016

Once again, I enjoyed the Harlequin Romance feel of this book, modernized, of course. Jessica is a strong minded, secure, impulsive woman full of passion, and Mathew is an analytical, strong man, Alpha, solution-driven. It was a wonderful story of discovery and compromise.

I did have to jarring moments I will share. No spoilers, just pet peeves.

At 18% the limo gets into an accident in one short paragraph. In the very next short paragraph, as Mathew removes the stunned driver, an ambulance and cops arrive. There was no transitional phrases, no, "a man with a cell phone..." Nothing. Too fast and way too unbelievable. It pulled me from the story.

At 50% Jessica is trying to show Mathew that low cost dates are better than over the top ones. But to get her second date she had to have the billionaire husband of her best friend find the chairs and get them up to the roof. That's using the over-the-top resources that she's protesting.

Those two contrivances bothered me enough to mention them here. Other than that, suspending my disbelief was a pleasure.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good quick read 20 May 2016

Jessica and Matthew were are destined couple. Jessica was hurt bad and shut herself off to the possibility to love for fear of being hurt. Matthew was a fixer and used to getting what he wanted because money was not an option. Matthew had to learn how to help Jessica without smothering her and Jessica had to learn how to let Matthew help her even a little. Together they complete each other and once they realize that the better they will be.
5.0 out of 5 stars Book two from Danielle Stewart was just as good as the first 31 Jan. 2017
By Colleen Giminiani - Published on Amazon.com

Book two from Danielle Stewart was just as good as the first. The author did a fantastic job plotting out the characters and scenes. You couldn't help but be sucked into the vortex. This book was Mathew and Jessica's story. They were introduced in Fierce Love (book one) and continued to add flare, spice and heat that left you fanning yourself with anything near. Definitely "cold shower" worthy. Danielle Stewarts contribution to the Barrington Billionaires series was a great addition. I would definitely recommend this series along with the synchronized series by Ruth Cardello and Jeannette Winters.

Ruth Cardello:
Book 1: Always Mine
Book 2: Stolen Kisses
Book 3: Trade It All

Jeannette Winters:
Book 1: One White Lie
Book 2: Table For Two
Book 3: One White Lie
5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of lessons in this super story! 2 Jun. 2016

Matthew and Jessica are some of the most bull-headed, strong-willed characters I have ever met in a novel! On one page I love Matthew and think she needs to soften; on the next page I love Jessica and want to tell Matthew what I think of him. This is the type story that keeps me turning the pages wanting to figure each character out and how they would fit in my life. The main points here were the underlying life lessons. All characters whether real or from the pages of a novel must learn to accept the whole package you get in a person or you should go on your merry way. Developing relationships does not mean changing another into who or what you want them to be. A great relationship that will be a lasting one is accepting the person, flaws and all, and learning to give and take. If you can't do this, the relationship is not to be. Move on. Matthew and Jessica learned this lesson and it made a great story. This is a fast paced book you should take the time to read!
