This is a beautifully written book. For those of you who, like me, have always been instinctively drawn to the attractions of socialism and abhorred the emptiness of unrestrained free-market capitalism; this book will allow you to once and for all elucidate your arguments with precision and conviction. However, this book is not for the faint-hearted, the conclusion is stunning, unrepentant and powerful.

Really great book. I had my doubts about the concepts of socialism...I wasn't even that clear on what it really meant. So often these days it's a term that's bandied around without any real understanding.

This book explains the concept simply, in an easy to understand way. It's not outright evangelism for socialism, but the more pages you turn the more you understand it.
