Yes I have read both books and although they are similar I loved them both. But I must say anna needs to make more of the final make up with a nice prologue of s few years later would have made the story.

This was my first Anna Mara read and I loved it, I’ve never laughed out loud so much as to the amount of stupidity and immaturity that came from Romeo and Juliet. This was a cute, fun and light hearted read. Juliet is on vacation with her sister Sara, trying to write up her next novel to save herself financially before she ends up declaring bankruptcy. The arrival of her unexpected next door neighbours shatters her peace, as loud music takes over and sexual nature is on full display to witness, day in day out derailing any possibility for Juliet to write and deliver her novel on time. Suffering enough disruption and fear taking over Juliet storms across and confronts her neighbour only to be blown away by Romeo, who mistakenly takes her for the personal stripper hired for him by his friends, the scenes that followed were too funny! A love hate relationship entails and all war breaks out as these two try to get one over the other, Juliet fighting for peace and quiet, whilst Romeo wanting the opposite and not backing down. There was so many funny scenes that my face ached from smiling and laughing. In the event of Romeo and Juliet trying to trap each other to get the upper hand, real feelings start to develop between them and we see another side to Romeo, but at every turn they are prevented from being together due to their own antics and Romeo’s fake ass girlfriend Carrie Ann getting in the way, god I hated the manipulative woman and I can’t believe what she shared with Romeo I hated it! I would like to have seen a confrontation between her and Juliet as she was the catalyst that kept them apart and Romeo broke Juliet’s heart, taking his revenge further with faking amnesia ruining any chance he had with Juliet despite wanting to own up due to his feelings for her taking over.Read more ›

For some reason I wasn't expecting too much from this but wow was I surprised. It's well written, very funny and heartbreaking too. I was literally in tears throughout a scenario near the end, mainly for Romeo I must admit. I could not put this down and when I did finish it I immediately looked for another book by this author and purchased it of course. Keep them coming pleased Anna Mara, great job.

I read Anna Mara's first book and enjoyed it so much I could not wait for her new book. I have now been lucky enough to read Why Romeo Hates Juliet.

Again, this book did not disappoint, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The book was sooo funny, some of the scenes were so hilarious and had me laughing out loud and I couldn't wait to turn the pages or in my case click next page on the Kindle. I love her style of writing; the descriptions in the books before something outrageous is about to happen makes you giggle in anticipation and then you just have to laugh out loud. I would quite happily sit in a corner and read these books from cover to cover and I have been known to re-read them.

I think Romeo and Juliet is fun and lighthearted whilst having some heart wrenching moments. The characters and events are depicted in such a way as to make you feel that it could, or has been, a scenario you have been in. Although hopefully not as outrageous as Juliet and Romeo.

I am an avid fan of Anna's books and her style of writing and in my opinion her books do not come fast enough. Carry on Anna - from the moment I open your books, they deliver what you promise, which is fun, humour and entertainment, which in turn makes me feel uplifted and happy. I always look forward to the next page and am disappointed when the book ends.

Can't wait for the third one.

Romeo and Juliet, two very silly characters who fall in love over the space of a few days and then ruin each other's lives. Yes, that is the original plot and it is the same with this story. Juliet is a very silly woman who behaves like an immature adolescent and Romeo forgives her everything while also being a foolish child. Although there are some amusing moments this books main fault is that it is simply too ridiculous to be properly entertaining. They are supposed to be professional adults, so why at no point can they just have a conversation?

I got hooked on this book. I really enjoy reading love/hate relationships because they are funny to read. I loved how they tried to out do each other and there was some ridiculous scenarios. There is a fine line between love and hate and this book shows it. This book was beautifully written it made me laugh, cry and broke my heart. I am looking forward to reading more books from this author. The only reason I didn't give it the full 5 stars is because it was a bit repetitive in some parts but apart from that an amazing read!

Read Her Perfect Revenge when it came out and loved it. Stumbled across this today and I'm so glad I bought it. Brilliant story, endearing characters, twists and turns that never fail to tug the heartstrings.
