Passable film version of Brian Clark's powerful and emotive drama about euthanasia. Richard Dreyfuss plays the central character, Ken, admirably but the paralysed former sculptor really deserves someone fiercer; perhaps someone like Russell Crowe.
There is a rather bizarre dream sequence in the film, involving a naked dancer; I'm not quite sure of its relevance but it's at odds with a straightforward and uncomplicated film. Pretty hard to get hold of on VHS, I believe it's now available on DVD.
