Our 16-month old daughter loves the book entitled 'Whose Feet?' - a book with GIANT flaps - written by Fiona Munro and beautifully illustrated by Jo Garden. The whole page opens up (rather than part of a flimsy page) to reveal whose feet are on show. This has been an excellent book at introducing words like Duck, Horse and Monkey; although I will grant the fact that our little one is unlikely to come across a Centipede in her youth but I guess all these words help build her vocabulary. Plus they come in a range, so you can work out whose spots, stripes, bottoms, nose and ears are pictured. I particularly like the clear images and also the fact that it is such a durable book. Our daughter gets very excited when she opens or unveils something new and other books haven't stood the test of time....

This book then, is a firm favourite, and will be for a long time yet....

Highly recommended.

My 7 month old daughter loves this book. She likes to look at her books before bedtime and has just learned to turn the pages by herself, so this book with it's sturdy flaps and bold pictures is great for her to practice with.

Most other books with flaps (Where's Spot etc) are a bit too flimsy for her at the moment and several of her other board books have also proven less durable than this one, although perhaps the fact that it's a bit too bulky for her to easily get in her mouth has helped! Hopefully she'll continue to enjoy it as she gets older and begins to understand the words too.

My son was bought this for Christmas aged 9 months and it's been a hit from the start. The pictures are bright and the large flaps are easy for him to open - but they are also sturdy and so far have withstood daily use. I've since bought for friend's children and would recommend this book.
