This is the album where NOFX grew up a bit musically. Their social commentary hit new heights on this album, but with more than a touch of humour thrown in. This was the first release from the present line up, new guitarist El Hefe's musical talent was exploited very nicely. Topics range from lesbians to iffy DJ's. If you're wondering where the likes of The Offspring and Green Day got a bit of inspiration from for Smash and Dookie, look no further. Still tearing up venues over 30 years from their inception, NOFX have no intention of putting away the hair dye just yet. With albums this good, why should they?? A great punk album from my favourite punk band. Buy it.

This is an absolutely superb album, packed with the kind of catchy and witty songs that afficionados of the American Hardcore scene have come to expect from this band. If you're into energetic guitar music and like to sing along, this is an essential purchase. "Please Play This Song On The Radio" says all that needs to be said about current chart acts, but in a song that none of them could ever hope to write, let alone carry off. If you're a fan of Bad Religion or early Offspring, you'll know all about this band. If you're not, you should give them a go - there'll almost certainly be several songs you like and a couple you absolutely love.

Best punk album ever made? Better than Dookie? No doubt about it. The best album NoFx will ever make. The Beatles at their best played at 100 r.p.m. Defines the whole skate-punk era of the mid-90's. makes me feel 18 again whenever i take a listen.

HASH(0x8eccb0fc) out of 5 stars Hellz yeah. This album rules. 9 Dec. 1999

I've never felt the need to write an online review for a CD till I picked up this Album. It completely blew away my expectations. Mostly its the energy and intensity that NoFX somehow captured onto this disc that made me want to floor the gas pedal and do 110 mph down my street. This is a must have for any punk. Pick it up and I guarantee from beginning to end you will not be disappointed.
HASH(0x8eccb534) out of 5 stars NOFX Blues and Jazz album 1 Sept. 2015

One of the best NOFX albums... Stickin in my eye and Bob are here... This is El Hefes debut with the band.... You can even feel the blues jazz influence in this.. I recommend this album to you all even if my vinyl copy never arrived i will recommend this album to everyone... Has this catchy pop blend that was lacking on their earlier hardcore recordings... I think the old NOFX is all gone in this one... I hope to order this one again in the future
HASH(0x8eccb51c) out of 5 stars A great and classic NOFX album! 21 April 2013

This is a must have album for any die hard NOFX fan. This is their second album after Ribbed that kicks ass and is really enjoyable to listen to. I have always wondered throughout the years why is it that only one NOFX album (Punk in Dublin or Drunk in Public) ever went gold or platinum. This album joins the rest of the list of great underrated NOFX albums that in my opinion are classics and even better in many ways than Punk in Drublic. A must have to add to your NOFX collection.

HASH(0x8eccb8e8) out of 5 stars The best in new punk 16 Oct. 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
NOFX is the punk band I grew up with. Give the old time punkers The Clash and Sex Pistols and even Minor Threat but me, I'll take NOFX any ol' day of the week. This is a surge in melodic punk, that spins around and around and flows in you. This is one of those rare albums, especially in this particular genre, where everything just seems to naturally gel together and breathe as a whole. It just makes sense. This guys are the wise-asses we'd all like to be, and their wit is expressed side by side with their talent, and their exploration of pain, suffering, gluttony, joy and ignorance on not just this album but every other one is a treat to any listener. To handle the sound is to rush into a world we all know too well, but Fat Mike and co. pull the humor from the truth, and the truth from the humor, and the over all human message from all of it. These guys disprove whoever thinks that punk is immature, because they take their own immaturity and make it into concious, balls out, swipes at society. This is heartfelt and honest, as are all of NOFX's recordings. It's great to see a quality band who has in now way succumbed to the big-time or sold out. They keep it real each and every outing. That and "they don't suck live", I saw them play the '98 Warped Tour and even though they sped through like six songs in four minutes, the vibe they put out was amazing, and none of the magic on the record's escaped the performance. Long live NOFX.
