Some plot spoilers you can deduce from the DVD cover. Not the stupid ending.

This is part of about 10 films restored by Full Moon and placed in a grindhouse series using their own definition of grindhouse. They also hit us with a disclaimer that the quality may not be up to digital snuff...and it wasn't as it even included some film noise. This is a restored Italian "B" movie dubbed in English (and not too well) for our viewing entertainment.

In this production a woman is on trial for murder (supplies its own plot spoiler) and tells the film as a flashback. Her family owns a rubber plantation deep in the Amazon jungle. While out for a cruise, their boat gets attacked and Catherine (Elvire Audray) takes the equivalent of a Brazilian roofie. They carry her on the proverbial pole, have the women do the Bo Derek bath, and then get sold to the richest man in the village so he can rape her, after all she has hair the color of corn. Pretty boring stuff. A lot of narration.

Guide: sex, rape, and pre-silicon nudity (male/female) Not much swearing.

Not very interesting cash in on the cannibal/jungle films of the 70s this entry for my money was quite tedious and really didn't grip me with its shabby storyline watch last cannibal world or mountain of the cannibal god so much better than this drivle

I have almost all of the cannibal movies ever made and this is one of the most original. A girl takes a boat voyage with her parents, aunt and uncle. Her parents are killed with blowguns. A tribe of natives takes the girl captive and a warrior takes a particular liking to her, but it is said he killed her parents. There's a twist ending that wraps it up, and shouldn't be too surprising unless you forgot some big continiuity at the beginning. The girl is modestly hot and topless through most of it. This is a must-see for fans of cannibals. I guess this version by Shock-O-Rama is an official release, as it's listed here on Amazon.com.

This movie is basicly too lousy too be watched at all. The plot is boring and the gore and sex that might make one forget about that is badly made and occurs too rarely.

I enjoyed watching White Slave because classic exploitation films of this type are so rarely filmed nowadays. It has sex, nudity, tribal violence, murder, and cold-blooded revenge. It's everything a Richard Laymon horror fan such as myself would be into. Now, if you'd like to see additional films of this genre, I would recommend "I Spit On Your Grave" (the 1978 version, the remake just didn't cut it), "Naked Fear", "The Last House On the Left" (original or remake) and "The Wrong Turn" series.
