theres plenty of cop shows on t.v and d.v.d. but if you want a slick glamourous and superb visual feast for the eyes then this is for you. fast paced. i couldnt wait for this to go on d.v.d as no channel in England is currently showing it. matt bomer as neal caffrey the best conman that ever was and his handler FBI agent peter burke has their relationship tested yet again. neals friend mozzie is hilarious as his anti establishment side kick. highly reccomended you will laugh and becon the edge of your seat. and matt bomer is simply gorgeous.

I have about six ongoing series that are "Top of my Charts" at the moment and this is one of my favourites. No gore, bad language or violence this appeals more to the intelligent viewer who likes a good plot.

This is a very unusual slant on a well worn subject that keeps us watching week after week.

I love the partnership between the two rival professions that has arisen as the time goes on and the most unusual aspects of the successful executions of the crimes fascinating.

This is another for the "Keepers file" LONG may they keep coming!

While I love most of the shows on the USA Network, White Collar is easily my favorite. The rich, well developed characters and the fun stories are so addicting. Even though I didn’t think season 4 quite lived up to the previous ones, I still enjoyed it.

Season 4 picks up a few months after season 3 ended. Former con man turned FBI asset Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) is hiding out on an island with his con man friend Mozzie (Willie Garson). Back at the FBI, there is a man hunt on for Neal, and his FBI handler Peter Burke (Tim DeKay) is trying to find Neal first to keep him from the more serious consequences of his actions.

Obviously, this little drama plays out in the first few episodes, and the show then shifts back to the more familiar setting of New York. Once again, Neal is working with Peter and the rest of his team, agents Diana Barrigan (Marsha Thomason) and Clinton Jones (Sharif Atkins), to bring down white collar criminals. They tackle such cases as a widow who may have committed fraud to get life insurance, museum heists, and even a hot tips boxing rings. Rounding out the cast is Peter’s wife Elizabeth (Tiffany Thiessen) who even manages to get involved in the cases occasionally.

But when Neal returns to New York, he decides to find out the truth about his family’s history, a subject that has always been clouded in mystery. Doing so means the death of a family friend and a conspiracy that leads to some powerful people. Will Neal and Peter be able to take down these personal villains?

Actually, it was the on going story that was my biggest issue with this season. I just didn’t get into it like I did the ones from the previous seasons. Part of that is because the tensions it creates upon occasion between Neal and Peter just felt forced.

I discovered White Collar several months ago on Netflix and finished the first three seasons in quick succession. I was eagerly awaiting the release of season 4 and 5 on either Netflix or iTunes, and last month the latter delivered.

As I watched both seasons back to back this review is for season 4 and 5 together. Both were fantastic seasons (as the previous three also were), with Matt Bomer and Tim Dekay delivering as always playing the parts of Neal Caffrey (convicted con-man turned CI) and Peter Burke (FBI agent responsible for catching Neal and now his handler) respectively. Willie Garson also deserves a mention as the ever-entertaining Mozzie (Neal's friend also with a keen interest in illegal activities), as does Bridget Regan as Neal's new love interest in season 5.

The reason both seasons received 4 stars from me instead of 5 is because, despite being enjoyable, slick and stylish TV, the show seems happily settled in the 'light entertainment' category, stopping it from ever becoming dark or serious enough to match the high quality and impact of certain other shows.

Season 5 ends on a cliffhanger, and season 6 has been confirmed as the final season. I look forward to watching it when it's released in the UK and hope for a satisfying conclusion to this show that's brought me hours of entertainment.

Arrived on time and packed good but was clobbered for customs! I'm not sure if I could have got it from UK but I doubt it. I was warned and I was prepared to take the chance. But if you have doubts don't buy! Be very wary. Only buy if you're prepared to pay £11 more for goods, even through Amazon --- NOT IMMUNE
