Product description

Product Description

Hailing from Melbourne Australia Greystone Canyon mix hard rock and heavy metal with a strong emphasis on tone, feel and fire. The debut album While the wheels still Turn was tracked at Goatsound studios Melbourne and then mixed in Montreal, Canada by none other than Grammy nominated producer Glen Robinson who has engineered, mixed and produced bands such as Queensryche, Annihilator and Voivod to name but a few. The album covers the kind of ground likened to the old days when an Ozzy Osbourne album could share tracks as diverse as I Don't Know and Goodbye to Romance and everything in between. Guitarist / vocalist Darren Cherry added it's about paying respect and honouring our favourite bands, regardless of what genre or era they're from. If it's something we love and it has influenced us as musicians you'll hear it on the record.. from 70's rock to speed metal. Sometimes in the same song. Why? Why not! The musicianship is tastefully displayed and used to enhance the strength and dynamics of each song to great affect. If one band dared to combine a true love of 70's rock, 80's heavy metal and a touch of AOR, what would it sound like Greystone Canyon. Darren Cherry - vocals / guitars Rich Vella - guitars Dave Poulter - bass Luke Wilson - drums Debut album While the Wheels Still Turn released worldwide on Rockshots Records, March 9, 2018
