"Where The Other Wild Things Are" is part two of a live concert that commenced with the "Where The Wild Things Are" CD. This is a very alluring and entertaining CD due to the fact that Steve Vai is a spellbinding and engaging live performer blessed with seemingly boundless guitar virtuosity.

The major highlights are the opening "The Crying Machine" a true instrumental gem that is replete with ear candy for listeners. The bruising "The Murder" has evolved into being one of "Vai's" great concert numbers that was also featured on his amazing "Sound Theories" live with orchestra CD. "Whispering A Prayer" is a profoundly emotional, spiritual, poignant and solacing instrumental that is inarguably one of Steve Vai's all time greatest songs.

For diehard Steve Vai fans "Liberty" is literally his national anthem. It's an enthralling and stimulating instrumental from his classic "Passion And Warfare " CD masterpiece. So is the elaborate and dynamic "Answers" that is consistently a brilliant concert treat. Last but not least is the mindblowing and glorious "For The Love Of God" which is regarded as one of the greatest rock instrumental performances ever.

The gifted Steve Vai is a talented freak of nature and a Godsend for people who love to hear the sounds of a vintage guitar phenomenon.

A follow up to the equally amazing Where The Wild Things Are.
Once again,Steve is happy to showcase the individual talents of his live band and boy do they step up to the plate.
The only thing better than listening to this CD and its predecessor,is watching it all on the live DVD.
