Brantley has no qualms about making his desire for Kinsley known and being the hottie alpha male that he is, he goes after what he wants. Kinsley is nervous about having a relationship with Brantley due to his profession, but their chemistry was off the charts. Brantley was so swoon worthy I found myself wishing he could be cloned and wishing and hoping Kinsley would give in. I also enjoyed Shane and Anna and hope that maybe we can see more from them one day.
Kaylee Ryan knows how to write some very likeable, easy to relate to characters, and stories that evoke some serious emotion. She is a definite go to author for me and I highly recommend this story.
- no cheating
- no ow/om drama
- excessive pushing away
- with others after meeting each other (prior to this story)
- ZERO EPILOGUE- which brought the rating down as well. An epilogue is a must.
This was really sweet. I really enjoyed it. I love how Kinsley tried to push Brantley away but he wasn't having it. I enjoyed the way her pursued her. He never gave up and it paid off. I enjoyed the push/pull. I dreaded finishing each chapter only knowing it was a step closer to the end. I'm satisfied with the way things ended. I don't feel like I'm missing something. Really enjoyable read.
I'd 100% recommend this one.
The H has been chasing the h for over a year. She is his boss' daughter. He is a fireman. The h grew up with her fireman dad who was frequently called away when there are fires. She is afraid to be in a relationship with a man who is in the same line of work so she keeps pushing the H away. She finally sees the light when her roommate is involved in a fire. Firemen save lives. They have a HEA.
It was a good read, but it was too short. I always love KR's heroes and our fireman H is no exception. I would have liked more relationship development and more background from the two main characters. I hope the h's bestie and the H's brother get their own story and that their journey to their HEA will be longer.
A recommend for the bus ride home.
And I'm not sure if Anna & Shane have a book, but if not, they need one! ; )
