Erin really enjoys messing with your head but do you know what it works and the story is very well pulled off. Loved both Kat and Trina both very strong characters. (Enter plot twist) but I also loved Leo and Lucca. Erin honey we need more Leo lol.
I'm glad that after a crappy childhood Katrina got her HEA <3
I almost gave up on this, I only started warming up to it when she met Lucca, the only one man she allowed to finally make her feel more human, made her put aside her anger and give up her overwhelming burning desire for revenge. In the end, all her anger and pent up hatred, the disconcerting and disturbing actions she inflicted to unsuspecting men were all for naught and really didn't make sense at all. The ending was not fulfilling to make up for the unsettling feeling I went through while reading, it left me feeling so disappointed. One good thing about this I can't ignore is it's well written.
Trina, quiet elementary school music teacher, a girl who's pretty reserved and keeps to herself, and we know she has a lot of secrets, but then she meets Lucca, and her secrets start to crumble as she falls in love with him.
Then we have Kat, a seductress who spends her nights enticing men only to leave them unfullfilled and frustrated, her driver and body guard Leo is just about the only man she trusts.
I have to admit i was slightly confused at first, but wow it was so worth perservering, As the story unfolded and things became clear, i became more addicted !!
Lucca was amazing and i loved how he was with Trina and the chemistry between them. Leo was an amazing man who you know truly loves Kat, and my heart broke for him. This really is a book worth reading, its great to find something different and it still hooks you !!
