Product Description

About the Author

David Clayton took in his first game in August 1977 - a drab 0-0 draw with Leicester City. But from the moment his young eyes caught sight of that magnificently tendered Maine Road pitch, he was smitten, for better or for worse. Since then he's followed the club religiously and written about them almost non-stop for the past ten years, first as a fan, then as editor of the official club magazine. Today, he is employed by the club as a journalist and lives with his wife and three young children in Didsbury.

The content of this book is excellent. I purchased it as a gift for an uncle but I'm tempted to buy another for myself. Great pictures. The outer sleeve on my copy is a little creased & scuffed, which may have happened during storage or packing, but I'll forgive that because it's only a dust cover & it can be removed if necessary.

A quality book of photographic memories of mostly the second half of the 20th century but, many memories stirred for this 67 year old City fan. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.
