I have been searching for the novel-book for some time ...and this came up,but pulp journels should have given it away, but i just thought it was the publisher name..I paid £11 for this really excited i was going to get the book and a journial came. Yes it is a nice cover, yes it is quite unqiue but not worth £11 nor anything over £6.00 unles you got more money than sense(if thats the case i can send you aload of overpriced stuff!).. dont get me wrong it looks retro like the book the covers brillient but its just got lined paper init with a few little comments i the corners... gutted it wasnt the book.
my error make sure you dont make the same.. i found a copy online but its on computer throu "kilbo" and its on amazon "kindle" but i dont have one and i dont want to read from a computer it will intime give head-aches/strain the eyes..
IF ANYONE FINDS A COPY OF THE BOOK OR WHERE TO GET IT LET ME KNOW PLEASE. thanks

5.0 out of 5 stars Adorable, good quality journal. 20 Feb. 2007
By page of cups - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Sin on Wheels is a semi-hard cover journal with smooth, wide ruled, decent quality paper. By semi-hard, I mean a thin, stiff cardboard that is harder than a paperback cover, but much thinner than a real hardback cover. The edges of the cover and paper are red, just like a vintage paperback. The paper is somewhat yellowed and lightly ruled with tiny blue dots. It's just enough to guide your words without spoiling the vintage pulp novel look. Some pages have a phrase in the corner. One is, "Girls just wanna have a little fun--women wanna have a whole lot." The paper is smooth enough for a fountain or dip pen, and neither Noodler's nor Rohrer & Klingner ink feather or bleed through it. I normally don't buy journals when a cheap notebook would do just as well, but this one is just too cute.

5.0 out of 5 stars Trailer Camp Tramp! 19 May 2011

Nice journal. The quality of the image on the cover is better than the photo above would have you think. The other reviewers have covered the pros pretty well- it is an excellent little journal, and a great size if you like to tuck yours in a purse or daybag. Small enough to fit, but not so small it's uncomfortable to write in. Feels pretty sturdy, too.

I just wish I had noticed the small red print under the author's name on the cover. It says, "(an original journal)." Part of what drew me to this notebook was the fact that nothing about the exterior suggested it was a journal (Whether a journal exterior that screams "I'M SMUTTY VINTAGE SMUT!!!" is any better is an arguement for another day...) If I had known, I would still have bought it. I still like it. But I'm telling you what I wish I had known: it has JOURNAL written on the front cover and spine.

Definitely planning on snapping up the others in the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super Cute...Best Journal Series Out There! 18 Mar. 2007
By Monica Main - Published on Amazon.com

The second I saw this journal in my local bookstore, I HAD to have it. If you saw my bookshelf you'd know that I have TONS of journals and this one, by far, is the most intriguing.

The cover looks like a bona-fide dime-store trash novel with the red-dye page-edging to match. The cover is soft which, for me, is preferred because it makes it much easier to write in.

It's larger than the original book. It's not as small as a paperback (trash) novel would be. So it's perfect for journaling or writing down ideas.

Within the pages are one-liners here and there to give the book that old-fashioned paperback novel appeal. The one-liners are NOT on every page and are so small in the corner of the pages that it doesn't take up too much space.

The moment I bought this one journal I went online (here) and bought the rest of the series. I believe there are 4 in all and I wish there were many more.

If you like journals of intriguing cover value that are easy to write in, you'll LOVE this journal series. Get them all! You won't be disappointed.

Also, since these journals are so intriguing, make sure you hide them if you have secret thoughts and ideas in them. If you leave it on a coffee table, chances are someone who comes over WILL pick it up and flip through it because it actually does look like an original old-time trash novel!

Perfect gift item for those who write and journal!

1.0 out of 5 stars Wasted money 5 Sept. 2013
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com

I guess I did not look at the description carefully enough. I wanted the book (the one with print that you read). Instead, I ended up paying $8.00 for a blank journal that I could have bought at the Dollar store for a buck. Please make sure that the fact that it is a blank diary/journal is perhaps highlighted and/or in bold print so the next person doesn't waste their money on a blank notebook.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cute book for my vintage trailer travel " logs" 17 Aug. 2013

I just got a 1966 Aristocrat and love all things " vintage trailer" . I'll use mine in my trailer to note things I want to make or buy. It's a cute small notebook that looks great displayed! I have several " pulp fiction" novel " notebooks" - I don't know how they make these but they're great for journals , make interesting table displays - lots of fun!
