The autobiography of the highly acclaimed author of On Death and Dying, as she faces her own imminent death.
From the Back Cover
Dr Elisabeth Kubler-Ross shot to world fame in 1969 upon publication of her seminal work, On Death and Dying. Since then, through her groundbreaking work with the terminally ill she has brought comfort and understanding to millions. Now, confronted with her own death, she offers a work that is as inspiring, insightful and incendiary as anything she has written in the past. In this moving, much-anticipated memoir Elisabeth Kubler-Ross traces the events that shaped her intellectually and spiritually - events which led her to explain the ultimate truth that death does not exist but is a transformation. We see how her happy childhood formed the solid base from which her outspoken and confident views sprang. From her work in war-ravaged Poland to her pioneering counselling of the terminally ill, her legendary seminars and her eye-opening discussions with people who had been revived after death, we learn how each experience provided her with a new piece of the puzzle. Dr Kubler-Ross's affirmation of life after death has sent shock waves through the medical and New Age communities alike. The Wheel of Life is destined to ignite further controversy and debate, for it is the thought-provoking final statement on life and living from one of the most inspirational women of our times.See all Product description

As I turned the last page and finally put the book down I felt a great sense of calm and assurity.
I could not recommend this book more, especially for those who are recently bereaved or living with dying relatives. But we all could get something from it, as it deals with issues of love and is a real beacon of hope. It touches the heart, mind and soul in ways that go way beyond the printed words.
If you only read one more book this year, make it this one.
Sorry for my English but it is my second language.
