I feel that this cd set (combination of the first two Quireboys albums) is the best music ever put out in the 90's. Spike has the greatest rock 'n' roll voice in history! With compelling songs, great guitar riffs, and beer-soaked blues, this piece of work is so good, it may even make you cry; it did me.

This album was a throw back to the Hot Legs era of Rod Stewart in the seventies. Raspy vocals, honky tonk piano and bluesy guitars. Great listening for a party! The Quireboys were around at the same time as the Dogs D'amour, but were arguably slightly more talented. If you like bluesy rock this is for you.

WOW! This cd brought back loads of memories for me of seeing Spike and the lads at the Marquee. From the Full on rock and roll of Sex Party to the softer Roses and Rings, it is a class collection of songs from one of the most underated bands of the 90's. Buy it and you won't be listening to anything else for weeks!!

A blistering CD full of great music/rasping vocals.

A hybrid of The Faces/Rolling Stones/& Dogs D'Amour- they provide great British rock.

Crank up the volume and enjoy!

What can you say about the first cd here. It's a classic. So many good tunes, (apart from 'hey you'). You always drop clangers to get in the charts. Anyway they learned a lesson and continued to make decent rock.

I first heard and saw the Quireboys at the same time opening for Whitesnake and I was well and truly thrown back.

This was good old rock and roll!!! Directly following the footsteps of The Faces, Rod Stewart and The Rolling Stones, but a bit sharper and ready for the end of the century.

The sound at the gig was fantastic and immediately after I came to Amazon to buy this double cd, which must the bargain of the century.

The two discs are full to the brim with that "you know what I mean far too many cigarretes" voice of Spike. The keyboards pulsate like they haven't done since Jerry Lee Lewis and the guitars puke out riffs and melodies like you haven't heard in a while.

It's a shame the Quireboys imploded the way they did, as A Little Bit of What You Fancy was an actual UK n2 record and you'll understand why when you listen to it.

Highlights include 7 O'clock, Sex Party, Sweet Mary Ann, Misled, Can't Park Here, and Wild Wild Wild in my opinion to just name and few.

As if the double pack was not enough, extra demo and live tracks have been added to create and excellent good value for money package.
