Format: Kindle Edition
A concise, humane and thoughtful guide to getting the most from life by enriching your daily experience with realistic, positive goals. Danny Rosenbaum's extensive background knowledge of the standard literature of self-help means this slim volume packs a lot of learning into a small space. Taking a 'pick 'n mix' approach to everything from sports biography to philosophy, he delivers a thought-provoking and enlightening analysis of what they have to offer mere mortals (all of us!) struggling to make our way in an increasingly complex, pressured world.
Definitely worth a read - and a re-read. Especially the three blank pages. Buy the book - you'll see what I mean!

I can warmly recommend this book. It is very human and sensitive, and avoids any form of preaching or lecturing. One feels the hand of a reflective and compassionate author, speaking from human experience without letting his own experience lead to judgments about others.

The book is pithy, practical and common-sense based, and like the best self-help books (note: I am no expert!) it doesn’t claim either to tell you what to aim for nor in cast-iron rules how to achieve it. The book just has good bits of advice, well put together, from which you can pick and choose what speaks to you.

A lovely thought-provoking book which has been beautifully researched and is a very manageable length. Drawing on the life experiences and wise words of a huge range of people, including his own, the author delivers a lot of valuable advice but remains non-judgemental throughout. Thoroughly recommended as an aid in the daily struggle to enjoy each day.
