The story continues with Nina and Liam.

Nina has walked away from her abusive marriage and Colt comes after her when he realises she has left him.

Liam is trapped in his abusive marriage because he does not want to leave his son behind. His wife finds out he cares for someone else and she uses their son as bait to hold him over a barrel not to leave her.

Nina struggles with feelings for Liam because although she acknowledges he has a responsibility to his son she wants Liam to make a decision about their relationship. She does not want to be the other woman. He needs to decide if he has the courage to walk away from his abusive relationship and choose Nina.

Another great story that looks at the issues surrounding abusive relationships and how difficult it can be to walk away from them even when you know it’s the right thing to do.

I cannot wait for the final instalment of this story.

Second part to the story of Liam, MaryAnn, Nina and Colt. I loved this book, I actually screamed out on the tube, as this book has some hair raising moments Only disappointment is the book was far too short, considering I really only read on my 20 mins tube journey and occasionally, for half an hour at night, I went through this book like a steam train. Authors you really need to make your books longer. But absolutely fabulous.

HASH(0x95861294) out of 5 stars Expected more...... 28 July 2014

Hmm....knew there would be at least 3 installments to this story (seems to be the trend these days), but I expected more in part 2 of this story - definitely more than the continued evilness displayed by each of the abusers. It would be a hoot if the two 'crazy abusive adults' ended up together - now that would be poetic justice. Not giving anything away, at least Nina is able to conquer her shame (hence the three stars) - gotta love the conference room scene. Here's hoping that the last installment to this story delivers a story worth the wait and price.

HASH(0x949deca8) out of 5 stars pretty good story 23 Oct. 2014

good story. i just bought book 3, although i do have a problem with the fact that the entire series is the equivalent of one medium-size novel.

i have one complaint about the story. well, two. in chapter 7, our heroine has a violent encounter with her husband. afterwards, it's as if it never happened. no reaction. nothing. i didn't necessarily expect her to end up in a hospital, but there should have been a little more than there was.

my other complaint is that nobody seems to know that "sunk" is not the past tense of the word sink. unless things have changed since i was in grade school, people need to learn how to conjugate correctly. just as good, find a reliable, well-trained proofreader! it can only help.
HASH(0x94f51b70) out of 5 stars Domestic Violence is ugly 11 Aug. 2014

First of all I want to say that the second book was better than the first. I like that you showed that men are not the only one that creates domestic violence, that there are women who are just as abusive as men. Liam was a true man that knew how to control his angry when it came to Mary-Ann, and then there was Cole, who I am so glad that Liam stood up to when he attacked Nina. No man should hit a woman and get away with it and no woman should use her son to hurt his father. l like that you used actual circumstances that happens between couples and marriage everywhere. I am looking forward to seeing what will happen when Liam and Nina when they start to take control of their lives. Good writing Iris

Excellent story about domestic violence I'm both male
S and females .Story explains the shame and embarrassment of the victims. This story explains the long-term problems to the emotional destruction as well as the physical pain. The story desperately detailed the reason victims stay with their abusers (children) Didn't like waiting for the next book Seems to be a common issues with the book's chosen lately.would like to know when the conclusion will be available.
