The finish and feel ;
Like a crazy person, ive bought the "active" version of this first because it offered more for your buck. It was a BAD decision, very poor finishing , the horrible silicon coated plastic cover, the silicon got scratched after a week of use. In addition to that the silicon is over the screen, makes for a blury screen, makes zero sense to have a oled sharp screen and ruin clarity by using silicon to cover screen. Absomutely useless in sunlight, it blurs everything...this would get 2 stars based on the cosmetics alone.
However i then bought the pro, a real difference. Feels solid, good feel, screen is still ruined by a blury polymer cover. I used a cut out bit from a screen protector and stuck it on top, cleared up the screen and so much better. However screen is smaller in length than the active , should have been longer. Because of the Short and semi blurry screen 4 stars
Functionality ;
Mobile App , very annoying to use and limited in its programmable functions, no option to show time in am/pm. Tedious process to ssign up for the prepaid system and not happy about paying £1.50 to use touchless payment.
Active ;
Excellent, does world is designed for and quite efficiently. For the 5 functions it performs them mostly without any glitches. Would give it 4.5 stars
Pro ;
Same thing as the active but a lot more robust in terms of waterproof ways you can go swimming with it so much better.
Value for money;
I would say both are overpriced. However the Pro , for the features is probably lacking. Having said that what the active makes up for in features (heart rate, gps) it looses in the finish quality. Overall a disapointing. Great idea...now I can wear my swiss watch with a smart alert band.
Upadte 1 month later, screen is annoying as hell, because in a direct glare, it cannot be read. It has survived a waterpark, so activity wise plus point, screen would set it back a few points.
