It has north and south words and a very good introduction into Welsh grammar and mutations at the start.
If you do not wish to be totally confused by some of the other dictionaries available by having academic English language used "The passive voice, pronouns, adverbs, the irregular, bla bla bla" then this is a good book.
Personally I prefer this to my Oxford modern Welsh dictionary for the above reason. Welsh is hard enough without 'adding more' complexity to it. I only brought larger dictionaries as I am intending to use Welsh in an academic specialist area. Otherwise I am sure that this would have been fine (In fact, it is the one I take to Welsh language class!).
It 'does what it says on the tin'. A bit more (in the introduction) but no less. If you want a good 1st Welsh dictionary that may last you indefinitely then this is a good place to start.
I would recommend.
