I always love reading a book by Carmen Falcone.

This one was very very steamy, and glad I chose to read it while off work. I couldn't put it down,

Alice Sommers is for once a very real main character. Too often they are all super pretty with a perfect figure and hair so it is nice to read a book with a plus size leading lady, who is flirtatious, witty and funny.
Lorenzo (mr. B) is every girls / woman's dream man, and surprisingly isn't a wealthy playboy for a change - all to often we hear of the playboy who resembles Barney from the show 'How I Met Your Mother' or even why they have a kid it's because they have been burned by a previous relationship and are scared to love again... It's nice to read about a normal guy who you could imagine knowing (well if you forget about the money and his good looks)

I loved reading this book as Alice is so easy to like and it seems like she could be your BFF in real life. She agrees to pretending to be Mr. Bs fiancée to help him get some paintings from Viola that he desperately wants and Alice agrees so she can help her troubled sister get out of the mess that could hurt her family.

When they arrive in Italy at Violas request things get steamy pretty quickly, I love a steamy read with a good story line. And I loved reading how their relationship progresses and as ever you feel as if you are Alice as Carmen is once again brilliant at dragging you in to Alice's head and thought process.

If you love a happily ever after and a ballsy female who embraces her curves, and loves a driven male who hates to fail at anything, and of course a steamy read then this one is for you!!!

Can not recommend it enough!!!

This latest book, by Author Carmen Falcone, was a magnificent blend of growing love and passion and the strength and weakness of family. Both can cause happiness and anguish when not seen in its true form. In the opinion of this reader, this story is by far the best of all the authors books. It has her trademark of strong sensual characters and humor in surprisingly unexpected places and wonderful twist and turns. But it also shows how ones upbringing, be it viewed right or wrong, can strongly influence the choices we make in life. The ending gave this reader a terrific sense of joy, and great satisfaction in the manner the writer got us there. To say I loved this story is just somehow not saying enough. I'm thinking, how good will her next story be as her writing continues that constant uphill battle to write something even better than the last.

This is a story of one thing going wrong after another for nanny Alice Sommers. She’s threatened by a loan shark, caught skinny dipping by her boss and then blackmailed into posing as his fake fiancé to help prevent him missing out one an important art deal! Add in a Mum with health problems, a sister who is bipolar and a niece in need of care and attention as well as the young girl she looks after and she’s definitely go her hands full! The plus side is that she already has a crush on her boss and the posing as his fiancé is in a spectacular weekend villa party on the island of Capri.

A fun romance, with a hardworking, really caring, heroine who looks after everyone around her – including her boss- she’ll have you laughing when nerves cause her to start rambling and making faux pas! She’s a delightful, sassy, loving character, the sort of person who really appeals. Art dealer Lorenzo Baldi is the sexy, Italian boss of Alice with secrets from his past that he’d really rather never be revealed. It is his beloved nine year old daughter that Alice loves and cares for and he hadn’t really noticed her until he catches her skinny dipping, sees her curvaceous figure, then the attraction is rampant!

It is a delightful read with great characters. The hero and heroine in the story both have been severely affected by their fathers’ influence but in very different ways. The settings, scenarios and events are emotively portrayed making it easy to empathise with the characters. I really liked Viola, too, and she plays a key role in the story – I hope her HEA works out, too! This is a well written story that I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys chicklit with a feisty female lead and an alpha male who is struggling to fight against love.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley, too, for gifting me an ARC of this book in exchange for this, an honest review.

Alice has a lot on her plate for such a young woman. He dad died, her sister is Bi-Polar and she has a young niece to help care for. She thinks her prayers have been answered when she gets a job as the nanny for Lorenzo Baldi.

But when she takes advantage of his pool - sans bathing suit - when she thinks he's out of town, she finds herself on a bit of a sticky wicket!!! When she's given an out by the oh so sexy Mr Baldi, she things she's managed to get herself out of hot water. Not so, she just went from hot to scalding!

Lorenzo wants particular artworks painted by his father and when he brings the seller to his home he finds his delectable nanny skinny dipping. Trying to save face and the sale he introduces Alice as his fiancée. When they get invited to a spur of the moment weekend on Capri he can't really get out of it.

But what will happen to these two people - from very different worlds, when the weekend is over?

Carmen has another superb read on her hands! Ms Falcone is the mistress of tempting narrative and writing characters that are not living totally normal lives(her sexy a$$ millionaires) but who you can still relate to! Alice is cute, sweet but not saccharine. Lorenzo is oh so tempting as the Latin American Lothario! Cross wires and family emergencies all play their part in this very sexy read! I suggest we all get our very own Lorenzo to light up these cold winter nights!!!
