When I think of the many exquisite wedding gowns worn in the last 30 years alone, it makes me wonder how the author can justify her choices. Honestly, which bride would wear the Yves Saint Laurent 'egg' dress, or Versace's Glowmesh long tank top, to her wedding? How can you compare them with such exquisite gowns such as those worn by Crown Princess Mary of Denmark and Princess Charlene of Monaco.
One other comment I'd like to make, which isn't really relevant, concerns the comparison concocted by the fashion media, between Princess Grace's wedding gown and that worn by Kate Middleton. What comparison? The skirt is totally different. The under bodice is similar, as is the high neck line and the use of lace. Otherwise there are none.
The star is for the stunning photography.
