With This Ring was Savannah Leigh's debut novel. For those, like me, who hate "cliffies," let me assure you this one doesn't end on one! This may just melt your kindle as the sparks fly between these two after their unconventional first meeting.
Drew has a problem. Lily has a problem. The two of them together might just solve both of those issues. AND your kindle may just melt while they work out those problems.
While this book didn't have a cliffhanger, we were left wondering just how things would work out. And it's great to be able to immediately continue on to book two with this bundle.
I Thee Wed:
This is the final book in the two story arc of debut novelist, Savannah Leigh. Book one, With This Ring, ended in a nice place, no cliffhanger, and this one takes off where that one ended.
Lily has agreed to Drew's proposal and then the shock hits. This makes for some good times as we see them both come to terms with how this fake engagement/wedding is going to happen. Since they both are so into each other, maybe they could make this more? There is plenty of steam between them, that's for sure. And sweetness, too.
I enjoyed the supporting characters and was looking forward to the "bad girl" getting what was coming to her. It was a sweet moment.
If you are looking for a sweet and steamy read for a couple hours...this is the read for you.

Lily is a struggling wedding planner. Drew is a hotshot attorney and the reluctant groomsman in one of her weddings. When the two meet in a church garden, sparks fly! Drew has his own personal battles and decides he and Lily could help each other out. He makes a business proposal, and Lily accepts while trying not to lose her head and her heart.
Needing some control over the crazy situation, the wedding planner jumps right into action, making plans for her "wedding day." Drew, meanwhile, is on Cloud Nine and ready to share the news with his Mom, whose only wish is to see her son married and happy before dementia finally takes its toll on her body and mind. If that's not enough, Oh, and Drew's crazy ex-girlfriend makes an appearance, threatening to ruin it all.
I won't say much more in order to avoid spoilers, but I loved this story! It is an erotic romance, so it's for adult readers, but it's more than just erotica. At its heart, the story is a hot romance between two strong characters who know what they want and are determined to have it, even if it means risking their hearts in the process. 5 stars!
Savannah Leigh chose a 2 person POV format, which I love! I connect with both characters immensely using this format and it enriches the overall experience.
Lily and Drew sizzle as a couple. They have an immediate chemistry. Savannah Leigh created some very steamy scenes between the two, one of which I may keep in mind, lol. I want more! I want to know more about several secondary characters. Perhaps the author will read this review and revisit these characters?
