I recently purchased this Wall Clock Weather Station with indoor and outdoor temperature and Remote Sensor and I have to say I am very impressed.

The order was dealt with without a hitch and delivery was fine.

As soon as I put the batteries in it started to find the real time automatically using a radio signal based in Anthorn, Cumbria which is about 292 miles from my home in Hampshire, after a couple of goes it stopped at 4pm which was perfect, It also changes the time from summer to winter automatically and vice-versa.

It has an indoor and outdoor temperature indicator on the face which is large and clear to read.

The external remote (about the size of a small mobile phone) was easy to fix outside. I did make a mistake of fixing to a fence post which was out in the sun and got very hot but after moving to a shaded position the unit and clock showed an accurate reading.

I would recommend this clock to anyone who wants to now the right time and accurate temperature inside and out.

Its quite sad when you get excited about a wall clock - but I guess these must be sad times cos I love it. I installed all the batteries, hung the clock on the wall and fitted the remote sensor in a shady bit in the garden. It set about doing its thing and after 5 mins it had set itself automatically to the correct time and was reading the temp in/out OK. I cannot comment on the accuracy of the temp as I need to calibrate it with a thermometer that I know is 100% accurate. The temp gauge seems to be accurate though. My Casio wristwatch is also radio controlled and they both read the same time to the second!

I received this as a present and still can't get the clock working properly. Outdoor sensor registers fine but, for some reason, the clock is just not picking up the timing signal from Anthorn Cumbria. This is a bit unexpected since I live just outside Bristol (on the coast) and judging from the map I am due south of the transmitter and certainly less than 620 miles away.

Very disappointing..

[[ASIN:B004956QSW Wall Clock Weather Station with indoor and outdoor temperature and Remote Sensor]. The clock arrived next day, very well packed. Put the batteries in and it obviously found a signal and the hands moved around to the correct time. The temperature sensors worked well both inside and out. Only had it a couple of hours but very pleased.

Got this for my kitchen, looks really nice, is easy to read, and best of all has a couple of nice extras. For starters the indoor/outdoor temperature display makes this always interesting, especially in the winter time. I placed the remote sensor in my garage and the clock has no problem picking up the signal through the garage door/walls and the house walls/windows.

It's also great as a self setting clock, you just pop a battery in and then leave it alone, it sets itself and you don't need to worry about changing the time when the clocks go back and forth.

A great clock, well worth the price.

Sorry for the late review but my internet has been down for 3 weeks. Anyway back to the item. Not impressed when I received the clock. The hour hand is in the wrong position. So if it was for instance 21:15 the hour hand still wouldn't have made it on the 9. I think its about 15/20 minutes out of sync with minute hand which obviously looks naff. Also the outdoor sensor wouldn't work in the back garden so I thought it might have been electrical interference from appliances. Put the sensor out the front, works better but every now and again if its cold it comes up with ridiculously low temperatures. For example if it was -3 it might think its -15. But i've only seen this happen a couple of times so i'm guessing it may be ice on the sensor. Overall not impressed!

Purchased this item as it has the option of showing external and internal temperatures. Was quite happy when the product arrived and everything was fine. However, since day 1, the seconds hand always got stuck between 7 and 8. I have to tap the glass and then the seconds hand starts working. Almost once every week, the hour and minute hand get stuck at the wrong time and I have to tap the glass on top and it starts running fast auto-adjusting to the correct time.

The hour and minute hand are working fine, but the seconds hand is nowadays always stuck between 7 and 8. Completely disappointed.

In theory, this would have been the ideal present for my partner. But firstly, when the minute hand points to 12, the hour hand is pointing at 11.59, which is poor. Secondly, it cannot find the signal from the atomic clock (in Brighton). The instructions claim it will start running manually and check for a signal every hour for 14 hours. After that, kaput; it does not get a signal. And now it does not run manually as the instruction leaflet says it should. Return to sender.
Two hours later and it has found the signal. The hour hand being one minute out is annoying, but otherwise it is telling us the temp outside and in, and the time. Just what we need before we go out. (We live in a flat). Maybe they could add a wind speed display?!
