This is a great book which you would think after already having 1 child, weaning.... Ahhh walk in the park on a hot summers day..... Nope, we didn't forget, we just misplaced the information and our brains stored it that safe, even the brain cannot remeber it all.
Gives such great tips and ideas, types of food, how to get going with weaning your baby.
I think for the price and the information in there it is more of a bible of the weaning world, the whole process is covered from start to finish, in this book you also have a meal diary kind of thing going on, fantastic for a weekly planner of what to feed your child, how much they had, what they are having next.... Yes belive it or not my daughter does look at me strangely if I say "sprouts".... So babies are aware if your plotting to give them dreaded greens :)
Fantastic GUIDE, would recommend to anyone with a spare £10 or with a baby.... After all it's what the book is for.
I did have to read extra about safety around BLW though (for example difference between gagging and chocking)
Well explained about weaning and options I can choose by suggesting different methods.
Also, I have seen this book in Waterstones before I purchased from Amazon and here sells cheaper than there.
However if you just want variety recipe then maybe it's not for you although there is some contents of recipe.
Easy to follow recipes and helps and tips to make the whole process easier. My baby is now 11 months and I still make lots of his fave dinners from here such as the lentil and sweet potato stew and salmon corn chowder.
Annabel also provides some really useful snack ideas and finger food suggestions which have proved a hit with my little one.
The menu planners give you a good overview of a typical days food which as a new mum is a great sense check.
Would recommend this book to all weaning parents.
