As specified, Amazon was, as usual, great at delivering this DVD. Talking more specifically about the series, I was overjoyed and continued to be overjoyed after buying Series 7 Spring Term to see that the BBC or Acorn Media or someone had decided to stop slicing huge chunks out of the episodes owing to a some sort of music contractual reasons (whatever that means) and decided to instead keep the footage and just change some of the aired music to something different for the DVD, which seems like a very sensible idea, and one they stuck to until this very DVD years later. I have managed to just about tolerate the musical changes to the footage in this series (which, in places, seems like it was just picked at random as it doesn't seem to bear any relation to what's going on on-screen) up until watching this DVD, when I realised in horror that they had changed the music they used on air in Episode 10 when Scout is running out of the hospital (not wanting to give much away) to reach her all-important exam which could either mean a bright future or a failed life (and speaking as a student, no one exam actually holds this much power, but I guess that's Waterloo Road for you). The music that was originally very beautiful and moving was swapped out in the DVD for some really weird piece with the strangest sound-effects that could have possibly been crammed into a song contained inside, and the entire scene wasn't moving at all, but just strange instead. So I'm begging whoever it is who is to blame for these strange contractual reasons to sort out their problems and stop messing about with the series! And re-release Series 3-7 Autumn term with all the footage included as well! And release a Waterloo Road soundtrack CD that has the original beautiful and haunting track used in Episode 10 of this series! But apart from that, I was satisfied with the DVD.

This is a crucial part to waterloo road move to Greenock. You get to see the new characters at their best and you really see Christine become a proper mum. This series in no way compares to the Rochdale series but you still get that waterloo road feeling. A star buy for any waterlooer :)

This dvd was the one i needed to complete my "Waterloo Road Series 1 - 8 Cmplete" Collection! My only fault is that the case came shattered with plastic bits everywhere. However, i easily bought a new case and swapped them. The Spring Term (10 episodes) is a crucial part of the series, as it shows the struggles the teachers are having, especially Sian with the move to Greenock and the challenging Barry clan. In my opinion, this dvd was a great purchase, and it was only £12.50!! You would pay £25 if you bought it from HMV!!!

At the start of this series I really do not like The Barry family at all. Hated them. BUT buy the end of the series I was loving them all lol

I wont say much as I don't want to spoil the series. But the Kacey storyline.....wow....So moving & touching. Best storyline in years for me.
