((Tiny spoilers, but nothing tooo dramatic or affecting!! - so this will be a really short review, or I'll give away too much)) In The Seeker we are left with Max collapsing and Liz begging for him to stay alive (swoon). The Roswell crew learns that Max is going through his species' version of maturity: connecting to the consciousness, "ankino". If Max is not able to connect he will die, and it will only be a matter of time before Michael and Izzy face the same fate. The mission is to find the stones that will allow him to connect. However, these stones are inconveniently located on their ship, which they still have not found.

Out of all the Roswell high installments so far, this one has the most action and conflict, and not excluding the relationships. Liz is watching Max die. At this point she doesn't understand, even more so, why they should just remain friends. Maria and Michael are much closer, and Maria makes a confession of epic proportion! Izzy and Alex are finally dating, even though Izzy still is reeling from Nickolas' death.

Without giving away too much, the Roswell crew comes the closest they ever have been to their ship!! Again, this novel is told from each of the characters' point of view. By far this is the most exciting installment so far. A must read for Roswell fans!!

Okay so basically Max gets really sick. It's really creepy cause Liz and the others don't have a clue what's wrong with him and they can't take him to the doctors (obviously!). This book keeps you on the edge of your seat right from the beginning and the suspension carrys on throughout the book. If you like excitement and being a little scared by books this is a definate must. For all Roswell readers - you will love this book! My favourite thing about it is that you see a whole other side to Max. I won't tell you anymore but you should definately give this book a try.

4. The watcher
Max is feeling ill, but not like any human illness he has been taught in biology. When he goes to see Ray Iburg (an adult crash surviver of the famous roswell crash, and Max's boss the the UFO musium), he is told that he is going through is akino. He will be joined to the collective consiuceness of his home planet or he will die. The only problem is that to do this he needs something that is locked away deep inside a FBI compound...

#4 "The Watcher" does not disappoint! Still packed with the same action and romance, the author does a great job in moving the story foward. I love the science fiction aspect of Michael, Isabel and Max having special powers to heal, see a person's aura and feel what another is feeling. They are truly a tight group who will do anything to help out there fellow friends. Even if it means risking their lives for them. And after introducing Ray (No. 3 the Seeker), the "father" type who comes in and starts to help the 3 learn more about what they can do with their powers and their home planet, we start to understand what their other world was about exactly as they are finding out. She digs deeper in each book of the series about the whole story and each character's backgrounds. The "Watcher" was definitely more powerful to me so far in this series, and I'm sure Ms. Metz will not disappoint with the rest! :)

This was a really good book including all the other ones, although I do wonder about the long distance between the books coming out and I really would like to know why but still they are all great books in my opinion.

The Watcher isn't as good as the other books in the series, but it still is one of the best books I've read. I love how the characters still manage to keep a sense of humor despite everything.
