his Jigsaw (WASGIJ = jigsaw backwards) is one of the original of the series and it shows.
The later ones are much more detailed and unless you have not seen nor completed one previously you will see the difference.

Great art with a twist but I think Wasgij enthusiasts have been spoiled by the later publications.

To say that this picture is predictable is an understatement. It's the old old joke.
I won't tell you want it is so this is a non spoiler review.

In general
These jigsaws always produce a great talking point in our house (Imagine Trivial Pursuit and you've got an idea) and are so attractive to do and there are plenty of jokes to discover that everyone mucks in.
Why?

You have to use clues about what the male lead has realised from his vantage point. Just what is it that has shocked and amazed the audience?? To get the final picture you have to have a little imagination. Once get you going you get the hang of it. (Hence the name backwards!)
The Construction.
Robust. The pieces fit together well and the notches are easy to sort into the various types to ease trying. The joy is once done you can put them away and re-visit in 2 years time or donate to the charity shops perhaps?

I've always found this type of jigsaw more engaging than just follow the box. The results always bring a smile to our faces with jokes aplenty.
Heck if you look at the amount produced and how long they've lasted they must be doing something right?

I enjoy jigsaws and these Wasgij jigsaws have that added edge. You are given clues as to what may have changed from the picture on the box, that is all the help you get. It can be quite a challenge to imagine the changes depending on which ones you choose from the Original, Destiny or Mystery collections.
Hours of relaxing fun for all the family!

I have all the Wasjig Originals, no. 17 being the latest. I find them much more fun than ordinary jigsaws because there isn't a picture to follow, just a few clues. It's about what the people in the box picture are looking at. The end result is amusing and colourful. Definitely a must for jigsaw fans.
