3.0 out of 5 starsDisappointed. Where is the rhubarb?

This creates a really nice gin and tonic, but we were disappointed with the lack of rhubarb taste. It creates a very tasty gin and tonic but if you want rhubarb you are better off with Edinburgh's rhubarb gin.
Delivered promptly as promised. Disappointed with the drink as it tastes just like 'normal' Gin. I'm not a Gin drinker but I do like a SloeGin and thought this would make a nice change. Wouldn't recommend this bottle it if you actually want to taste rhubarb - maybe there are other brands out there which do so I'll persevere. It's a beautiful colour which is why I've rated it 2 stars, otherwise it was only getting 1. Gave this bottle to a Gin drinking chum to enjoy so at least it won't got to waste.
We are currently exploring the world of flavoured gins, and got very excited when this specimen arrived. In particular, being lovers of rhubarb it seemed this would tickle our fancy like little else. But the verdict is this: it's a pleasant drink without a doubt, but our rhubarb-attuned taste buds struggled to find much evidence of that noble plant. Maybe we should try making our own, to complement the bottles of sloegin ready each Christmas after autumn foraging expeditions in the hedges of East Yorkshire.
