Even after all the great reviews this book still surprised me, it was hot, yes but it was so much more, in only 67 pages it managed to do what a lot of longer books can't, it developed real characters and made me care...and yes it's hot.
Violet has been married to Alex for 3 years and in that time she's shared him with countless women, he's made little effort to hide them, he just doesn't care enough or respect her enough to even try to cover his tracks, she entered the marriage for all the right reasons but I've no idea why he thought he would be a good idea to get married.
Anyway she's finally had enough, she's only thirty-two and she wants to start living, but where does a married but soon to be divorced woman find what she's looking for. Violet starts with the Internet and finds a site which looks interesting, she soon finds herself heading to meet her mystery man. The mystery man turns out to be Rhys and wow...I mean is he perfect or what, I need more and quickly luckily for me all the books are out.

Pssssssst have you heard about Angelic Chase? Nope neither did I until I came across this series.

Well we all know what a waltz is. That slow, gliding dance that is performed effortlessly and nimbly.

A bit like Violet’s life - gliding through a loveless marriage, ignored by a cheating husband who doesn’t just cheat on her with one woman - nope he has two.

Tired of listening to her husband “dancing” around, Violet decides it time to sever the marriage and asks for a divorce.

Unfulfilled sexually by her husband - Violet decides give herself a year of sexual exploration. She comes across an adult only chat room on the Internet where she begins a back and forth conversation with a mystery man. Soon Violet decides to meet this stranger at the pub called the Rabbit Hole.

The mystery man is drop dead gorgeous and soon they begin a sex only - no strings attached relationship.

Despite their decision to keep to the “no strings attached” rule they soon fine their feeling going in a very different direction and the Waltz soon becomes a tango.

This story is Erotic with a capital E and yes there is a cliff hanger but at least you can move straight onto book 2.

I had to grin when I read Rob's review (co-reviewer for those that don't know), I could see his excitement over this (and I am grinning wildly re excitement here lol if you know us you'll know why ☺). And to be honest I thought uh oh could this be a sexy ass story with little substance and not much character likeability, but that is ABSOLUTELY NOT THE CASE. This is a cracking hot read that had me hot under the collar and would melt the knickers of a nun at 20 paces! But not just that, the good sex was backed up with a good story too. Great big thumbs up indeed!

Angelica, I honestly wasn't expecting such a good all round read! I really liked Rhys (s*** what woman wouldn't!) and I really liked Vi and of course I hated her husband! Oh I so wanted him to finish his phone call early that time and get a dose of rejection! I had a lot of feelings for Vi, ranging from sad, shock, intrigue and sad again and there were the times I was sitting there think 'Go on girl go for it!' I could argue the toss at how quick it all happened but nope, I am not gonna argue, this was definitely a hot, exciting read of this genre.

Angelica has wove a tale that certainly gets readers that enjoy this genre hooked and that ending! Woman - now that plain just cruel! I agree with Rob - Red Ms Chase - RED!!!

I received a copy of Sexual Awakenings, The Waltz, in return for an honest review. My reviews are my own and are 100% honest.

So Violet has decided enough is enough from her cheating husband. She’s spent too long ignoring her own needs while Alex is, quite clearly, fulfilling his with a bevy of mistresses.

Logging into a chat room, she embarks on a voyage of rediscovering what’s missing in her sexual life with the help of Rhys.

I liked Violet. I am glad she has decided to explore her sexuality, broaden her horizons and basically walk away from her husband. He doesn’t deserve her. What kind of arrogant barstard would have a vasectomy just after he gets married without a discussion with his new wife?!! That’s mucked up for starters. Then over the years, he’s put his d1ck in whatever he wanted while Violet has been the good loyal little wife, mourning the loss of her marriage but also the loss of the family she wanted and expected to have.

So anyway….Violet….she loses her inhibitions to go on a learning curve with Rhys. She’s becoming strong, she’s finding her voice and I like strong women. Too many women are typecast as weak so it’s good that Violet has decided to do something for her. Putting her trust in Rhys to open her eyes to the possibilities.

And Rhys, well I liked the fact he says not everyone who enjoys a bit of kink is mentally unstable. I totally agree with that. He makes the kink normal, still fun and exciting, but normal. It's dirty in a good way.

I love the way the author is telling this story. I felt for Violet, I cheered for her when she took the bull by the horns and I want her to find fulfilment in her life, whether that’s with Rhys, or whether it’s on her own. I want her to be happy.

The author can also write a damn good winky scene. There are plenty in this book and I’ve had to start a new shelf!!

I need the next instalment…….RED Ms Chase!!
