This book has wonderful characters whose feelings run deep. You can feel the connections. The fact that the book makes me laugh out loud is a bonus. The heroines can be a tad annoying but not enough to spoil the book. Would definitely recommend
Although itching to get my hands on Poppy & Nate’s story, Sienna and Bo’s story was certainly not one to disappoint. I do feel sorry for the men that these three intrepid women attract though. They have absolutely no concept of self-preservation and “stay there and behave yourselves” means nothing in their world.
As I said, it’s Bo’s turn to tame the wild monster, or Sienna, in this story. Despite being attracted to her, he knows that she’s a loose cannon and definitely a woman to stay away from. After being unnecessarily harsh to Sienna, Bo finds himself on a quest to apologise to her and that quest leads him into a situation that he couldn’t imagine. What should have been a simple trip out to the dude ranch the girls are staying at suddenly becomes dangerous with an unknown threat holding Poppy and Sienna firmly in its grip. Knowing he can’t handle two wallflowers on his own, Bo calls on Devin for assistance but that means only one thing, two wallflowers once again become three and double trouble soon becomes totally unmanageable.
When Devin and Bo struggle to control the wallflowers and run the ranch at the same time, good old Nate is called in and despite being built like a wrecking ball, even he finds it difficult to keep an eye on the wallflowers 100% of the time. They may have everyone’s best interests at heart but when Sienna, Poppy and Calla step one foot outside of the circle of protection, you can guarantee that all hell will let loose.
I love this story and the author’s portrayal of it. It’s sweet and totally captivating. The humour is natural and extremely funny and the writing has you laughing out loud just because you can predict what will happen next. Bo is something else though and if you thought Devin ticked all of your boxes, think again. Here is a man that you would want a double helping of! His relationship with Sienna is perfect and he handles her with the utmost care, despite finding her unbelievably irresistible. Their connection is perfect though, and this is yet another man who can’t help but fall hard and fast for his wallflower.
Please, please just give this series a try, you won’t be disappointed. For me, I’m already counting down the days until I can read Nate and Poppy’s story. Something tells me it's going to be something a little bit special.
Another romantic suspense, this one Number 2 of the wallflowers Sienna and Bo Strawn the hot cop. Although this is a completely different couple having their story told I'd definitely say read book 1 first.
All the way through this I was giggling at the girls and what trouble they always found themselves in. I know without a doubt I'd love some friends like them.
And after hearing so much about it I think I'll be trying some green fairy potion if that's how it makes you feel haha!
Though this book primarily is about Sienna and Bo we get just as much of the calla and poppy and Devin and eventually Nate which is great.
I'm looking forward to Poppy's turn now, I've got a feeling that ones going to be extra special with how this was left.
After denying his feelings for as long as he can, Detective Bo Strawn admits he's fallen hard for Sienna Miller but is determined to take things slow until she is ready.
More adventure, or trouble as the men call it, awaits the girls in the form off being held up at gunpoint by a chancing biker wanting cash.
Needing a peaceful holiday, Poppy and Sienna head off had off to a dude ranch but fearing they are in trouble, Bo follows, intent on claiming 'his woman'. Devin and Calla also arrive at the rand, as does Nate, as bigger problems arise for the Wallflowers.
Fires, shootings, being trapped in a gold mine seem all in a day's work for these girls. After a dramatic rescue and making sure the girls are now safe with Nate keeping watch over them, Bo and Devin track down the mystery biker where more secrets are revealed.
A great series of friendship and love. Bring on the next installment.
