HASH(0x8f0c0528) out of 5 stars Quite disappointing! 27 Jun. 2015

Wallace and Gromit are much more charming as Claymation characters in movies, in which, the cute and smart expressions of Gromit and the clever but sometimes clumsy actions and ideas of Wallace are simply hilarious and delightful to watch and re-watch.....
Though I don't expect the same level of delivery from a comic book, I do expect a story line more aligned with the usual W & G styles, which was not found in this story of "A pier too far", which showed a Wallace with more than a mean streak towards Gromit and Gromit was not portrayed as cute and intelligent as he usually is, quite disappointing.

How nice if Nick Park would create another W & G movie (after the "A matter of loaf and death"), simply because Wallace and Gromit have such charming relationship and personalities, watching them is hands-down more heart-warming than any other Claymation movies, even "Shaun the sheep" movies, in which no one speak anything, and a lot was lost when no characters have much depth and the action-only stories became very child-appealing only, but I am among the adult-fans of the beloved Wallace and Gromit, hope that Nick Park would really consider making another movie adventure for our dear Wallace and Gromit, instead of Shaun the sheep, please!!!

This book is wonderful and so are the illustrations. I can highly recommend this book to anyone who is a Wallace and Gromit fan, and even if you have never heard of them before it is well worth buying. We laughed all the way through it! Just a delightful book.
