5.0 out of 5 stars I was coming of age in the sixties 22 May 2013
By Kitty Wallis - Published on
Format: Hardcover
A history of the 60's written by a senior editor of Look Magazine. Look got their stories by sending out 2 person teams: an editor/writer and a photographer to an area of interest. Leonard covered events such as Martin Luther's rise to fame and his speeches. He got close to the man. He covered the Iron Curtain at the height of the cold war, the civil rights movement from Little Rock to Selma. Was close to such people as Bobby Kennedy, psychologists B F Skinner, and Fritz Perls, futurist Marshall McLuhan and most important, Michael Murphy, Founder of Esalen.

I lived it and this book provided me with a lot of insight about what was happening.
