Also, there are a few puzzle sections, where you have to wander around and solve a challenge to move further on in the game. These are often illogical, and it generally doesn’t matter if you can see what needs to be done, you still have to follow the exact sequence of events they have prescribed or you can go no further. And sadly this quickly becomes very frustrating.
So, there it is: after an initial honeymoon period, I bailed the game after only a half-dozen hours play. Great idea, but a frustrating interface and gameplay.
The storyline and characters make it worth persevering with. It's a game with a lasting impact and will stay with you long after completion.
The real time events inspire and enthral as you live out the lives of the survivors in a zombie infested town.
