As he says himself, many of the days ‘on the road’ contain nothing of interest, but luckily he manages to attract more than enough interest from both benign and more hostile elements along the way to keep the pep in his step and his writing bubbling along at an enjoyable pace, blending history, with observational commentary and great descriptive writing.
Looking forward to reading about his next adventure.
