An absolutely stunning CD - I bought this from a record shop in Baltimore in 1997 and nearly had a religious experience when I realised that Boston were still producing great music nearly twenty years after their first album. A group I fell in love with when I was 20 and still love now I am 40-something. The album kicks off with a real power ballad, "I Need Your Love" then heads for maximum overdrive with "Surrender To Me". My favourite number on the entire album, though, is the simply stunning "What's Your Name". If you love pure Rock with beautiful production quality then you MUST add this album to your collection.

I was looking for Boston's new album and came across the reviews for this. I bought it when it came out and remember at the time Q Magazine gave it 4 stars which for them was unheard of for a band of this nature.....it is quite simply the work of a genius and it defies belief that people could only give it 4 stars. It is I think the best and most cohesive Boston album and just listening to it now still gives me goosebumps. So looking forward to the new album though by Boston standards I am not expecting an overlong one, still every second will be treasured I hope.

If you're familiar with the works of say Journey, REO Speedwagon and even Hysteria period Def Leppard then this will be right up your street.

Boston recorded one of the most famous of the AOR/MOR tracks in 'More Than a Feeling', but it is highly likely that you may not have gone much further than this into their repertoire.

Walk on has been known to me since I bought the cassette.... yes, a tape, probably 10 years or so ago. It was one of those albums I just had to have in the car as it delivered proper driving rock, beautiful harmonies laced around some meaty back drops.

Songs of love and wonder are melded together to form an almost concept album kind of flow that has a definite beginning and an end. What you get is a brilliant example of why they do deserve More Than a Fleeting Feeling and how, in spite of their key vocalist being absent (thank you fellow reviewers) that Boston are a band that still bear repeated listens today.

Tom Scholz produced three great albums: Boston. Don't Look Back and Third Stage. After that, forget it. This offering only contains one great track, which is 'Livin for You' (and it is a great track). The rest is just plain mundane.

I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT THE LATEST BOSTON ALBUM, AND ALTHOUGH IT'S
DIFFERENT FROM THE EARLYIER ALBUMS I GAVE IT FIVE STARS AS I THINK IT IS JUST AS
GOOD.

Excellent stuff from BOSTON and Tom Scholz. This came out during the summer of 1994 and although it isn't the late Brad Delp on vocals it's totally and unmistakably BOSTON right from the first chord. All the songs are sung by Fran Cosmo who used to sing in some other band - I don't remember their name. This is it - beautiful melodies and hard rockin' stuff back to back. It won't get any better and sounds as fresh today as it did when it first came out...

Thank you Amazon, without your product listings I wouldn't even have known this cd existed. On first listening I must admit to a lack of enthusiasm on my part but on the second run through of the tracks it was definitely Boston with the very subtle lulls in the tracks to the signature crescendos a la Boston. All in all, brilliant.
