A good factual book from Mr. Wakefield. A little heavy at times. Vital information for all parents whose child is due their MMR. Combats the views of the rich and powerful vaccine industry.

Wakefield's passion and integrity shine out through this rather convoluted text. Wakefield is a surgeon, doctor and researcher first and not a natural author. However he has very important information to share and does his best to try and share it in a way that is accessible to the layman or woman. The pain and hurt about his own treatment at the hands of the GMC tend to confuse the clarity of his writing at times but readers should not let that put them off.

Andrew Wakefield is a must-read for thinking parents. If the Establishment and "interested parties" (BIg pharmaceutical companies) have persecuted this caring doctor and rubbished his arguments, then maybe it's worth taking time to read a prinicipled doctor who has sacrificed his whole career to tell the truth. I have watched his lectures online, and from them decided to read everything he has written. He's no 'prescription puppet' - this is a caring doctor who loves children, and is concerned that medicine is becoming a goldmining industry at the expense of children's well-being. He has plenty of case history to stand up to examination; his detractors have lied concerning things he's said. To earn about the man is to trust his integrity.

I am autistic and I'm not ashamed to say that. If you can't or won't accept me the way I am that is your problem not mine. This book is just confirmation bias for people with a hatred of autism.

Do not purchase this book. He has been struck off and should be put in prison for the deaths he has caused indirectly. None of his 'research' is backed by any science or proper studies. Only gullible people buy this and believe this utter trite.

There is no excuse for purchasing this book.
His work discredited, struck off from the medical register, this excuse of a man has put countless lives at risk in the pursuit of profit (patenting the alternative vaccine)

like the rest of the work by this disgraced doctor this book is full of falacies and scare mongering backed up by evidence that does not exist in a rational well documented world.
