Credit where it's due, Summerslam is essentially the second biggest show of the year in WWE and for the 2015 version they threw a bit more effort into making it seem like exactly that. The four hour run time, celebrity involvement, Brooklyn setting, Wrestlemania rematch etc - they're giving it everything here and the results are pretty successful. Ok it's not actually Wrestlemania but the card is strong and the work ethic is high which adds up to a good show. The extras on this disc are a different story - they're rubbish. This is the card and a brief breakdown of the extras....

Randy Orton v Sheamus - Decent enough show opener, nothing especially memorable about it but the live crowd are into it which is always a bonus for the match in this position.

Lucha Dragons v Los Matadores v New Day v Primetime Players - Tag Titles - A lively and entertaining affair. It's occasionally sloppy but when it's this much fun they can get away with it.

Dolph Ziggler v Rusev - Didn't care much for this soap opera feud which may be for the best considering they suddenly dropped it before it actually reached a conclusion. The match itself is perfectly fine but would/could have been better without the lame finish.

King Barrett & Stardust v Neville & Stephen Amell - Amell handles himself pretty well here. They keep things relatively basic of course but the match definitely succeeds at that level.

Big Show v Miz v Ryback - Intercontinental Title - This is bright and breezy, tells a good story and proved to be better than I expected.

Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper v Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns - This can't match some of the classic Shield/Wyatts stuff from years gone by but it's still pretty electric at times. Good stuff.

This year’s SummerSlam had so much promise to it, and potentially it could’ve been the best one ever. After all, the main-event is the highly anticipated rematch between Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker; the first-time since the unfathomable outcome of WrestleMania 30. Also, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins locks horns with United States Champion John Cena in a winner-takes-all match, American comedian Jon Stewart is a fine host, the Brooklyn crowd are great and there’re many more surprises on hand.

But while the majority of the show is absolutely essential, there are some really dodgy finishes that do tarnish the overall effort. Still, there’s a lot of top-notch stuff that DOES make the 2015 SummerSlam a must-see show.

Sheamus vs. Randy Orton
Once again, we see these two clash (after so many times over the years), and yet Orton and Sheamus produce a solid, if somewhat lacking opener. It didn’t really do much for Sheamus during his Money in the Bank push, but it’s still a fine opener with a satisfying result. (7/10)

Fatal 4-Way WWE Tag Team Championship Match
The Prime Time Players (Champions) vs. The New Day vs. The Lucha Dragons vs. Los Matadores
Ah, the New Day…truly the most entertaining act in WWE at the moment, and in the absence of the Usos, they’ve really stepped up their game and proven to be a true godsend to WWE’s tag-team division, as have the Prime Time Players and the Lucha Dragons. This four-way title bout is such good fun, with many clever and brilliant moments. A bit disjointed here-and-there, but (on-the-whole) terrific work from all participants. Excellent outcome, too! (8/10)

Rusev (w/Summer Rae) vs.

Was Brill watching live online
Not a wrestling fan at all but was watching mainly for the match:
Stephen Amell & Neville VS. Stardust & King Barrett
Mainly because I love The CW's Arrow & The Flash, upcoming Legends Of Tomorrow and maybe Supergirl, definitely aswell Vixen!
And Facebook-liked to Stephen Amell; star of Arrow as Oliver Queen/ Green Arrow
Also I buy his campaign products

Anyway I knew the end result of the match (sorry if it's: (DW's River Song's:) Spoilers) due to the legal reasons and careers and publicly story plot lines etc

Anyway I watched the kickoff before show thingy and enjoyed
Watched the matches before the main match (main in my opinion) and after

Anyway the ref. had no right ending and clarifying the winner of the John Cena vs Seth Rollins: Title For Title Match

But yeah I'm gonna get this DVD of WWE's SummerSlam 2015 when it comes out, only time I'll be buying from the WWE up to this date, again not a fan of WWE
Byt was a fan of this 'tournament' like thingy
Was Awesome

From me to anyone thinking about it: buy it :)

A strange one to rate this one,i give 4 stars because it was too messy to give five, but i did enjoy it,even though i was left quite disappointed several times. So i almost rated this 3 stars, but i did enjoy some of it very much,so four stars it is.
Anyway, this odd event started off with JON STEWART...(don't ask me) doing his duties as host of summerslam and having Mick Foley come down for a pointless segment.
Onto the matches. RANDY ORTON has a good but nothing special match with SHEAMUS. It was a good opener, but i prefered last events encounter. a 4 way tag match now as champs PRIMETIME PLAYERS take on THE USOs,LOS MATADORES and LUCHA DRAGONS. Very good it is too.quite a few top spots to gasp at,if you're the gasping sort. An interesting ending i wasn't too keen on,but the match was enjoyable.
DOLPH ZIGGLER has a match with RUSEV and of course the feuding women are there to add some fire. The match was alright, but just nowhere near what i hoped for.We have two great talents here and yet the match didn't really do much and it ended with a fizzle rather than an exciting bang. Next came a surprise as actor STEPHEN AMELL teams with NEVILLE to take on WADE BARRETT and STARDUST. Amell was a lot better than most could've expected and really was the star of the match. The match was quite short and really nothing special, but credit to Amell,he did look good.
Now,very much a filler as RYBACK defends his IC title against MIZ and BIG SHOW. Some nice moves here, but way too short to be taken seriously. Ok,no one here is what i would call a top wrestler, but the match was a bit of a waste of time.
So we then get DEAN AMBROSE and ROMAN REIGNS teaming against BRAY WYATT and LUKE HARPER.
