It's time to toss the rulebook out the window once again as WWE goes extreme! With the after-effects of WrestleMania still lingering, stipulations are added to each contest for guaranteed chaos in and sometimes out of the ring. Last year s event saw the return of the merciless Brock Lesnar, who battled John Cena in one of the fiercest contests in WWE history. Who knows what will happen this year, when the Superstars of Raw and SmackDown collide on the one night where the only rules are extreme rules.
Includes the following matches:

A good opener with CHRIS JERICHO vs FANDANGO,this is Y2J'S revenge match, you could say. It's decent enough, but a little on the short side.
KOFI KINGSTON defends the u.s. belt against DEAN AMBROSE of THE SHIELD. It's very good, with an interesting outcome, but perhaps a little short again.
SHEAMUS takes on MARK HENRY in a STRAP match, meaning they have to touch all four corners in succession to light up their lights. It's good fun with some really good moments, but less than ten minutes seemed a bit of a cheat.
ALBERTO DEL RIO takes on JACK SWAGGER in an I QUIT #1 contenders match, this should've included heavyweight champ DOLPH ZIGGLER and been a LADDER match, but he got injured so we had this decent but nothing special match. It has some good moments and does get a little extreme, but the end is a bit of a mess and appears to be just filling in time,i'd prefer more action.
TEAM HELL NO defend the tag titles against SETH ROLLINS AND ROMAN REIGNS from THE SHIELD in a TEXAS TORNADO tag match. It's very impressive, but disappointingly short, this could've been a classic,if it was given the time to be,but it certainly is worth a watch with a brave ending.
RANDY ORTON takes on the BIG SHOW in an EXTREME RULES match. There's some really good moments in this, but nothing really big happens,it could've been more, still,it is pretty good and it's great to see ORTON pull out an old friend.
JOHN CENA takes on the wrath of RYBACK,now a bad guy. It's a very impressive LAST MAN STANDING MATCH for the wwe title, starting off with each wrestler punishing with slams and stuff, but then out come the weapons, then the set gets a bit of a battering. I liked the last moment till I realized that was it,it was great for a near end moment, but this left me feeling slightly cheated.
TRIPLE H battles in a cage with BROCK LESNAR for the main event. It is a great main event, but should've had a little more brutality and a bit of blood would've helped. What they do with the cage is good though, actually using it to harm the other. I liked the match, but It does have it's faults and BROCK LESNAR is perhaps guilty of overselling a knee injury. So,it's a great match that should've been a lot better,it just doesn't quite live up to the hype.
Another event I enjoyed, but too many faults to get five stars from me,the main one being,it just isn't EXTREME enough, maybe next year.
