Product description

About the Author

I’m reclusive by choice. I live near the edge of a wilderness area and my best friends are the forest animals. I love watching them go about their lives. I like to disappear into the wild for several days or a week at a time to get my best ideas and do my thinking. I have one house pet, a big tabby cat named Bud. My interests are varied. I’m fascinated by peoples’ varied personalities and forever curious about how different people came to behave the way they do and think the way they do. I like to write about things where I believe I can tell a story that sheds a fresh perspective on a possibly misplaced common perception, or when I can perceive something about the future that, for reasons I do not fully understand myself, I can develop a story around and use that story to project what will happen. I try to feel what my characters feel in my stories. In fact, sometimes I cry when I write about sad things, and sometimes I cry happy cries when I write about things that relieve a character from stresses or something bad. I also feel a terrible sadness for my bad boy and bad girl characters because they can’t help themselves from being bad. When my characters fall in love, I try to put into their minds the same feelings I think I would have if I were them. In the evenings I like to write my first drafts in pencil by an oil lamp. There’s something special about thought processes that take place when I’m alone with my lamp, my pencil, the wonderful silence and Bud. He loves to walk on my draft paper or lie down and stretch himself out on it. That’s his goofy way of telling me he needs my attention. Then I hold him close to me like he’s a little baby and give him gentle hug rubs until he purrs. That’s how I know he’s happy and feeling healthy. He has a great purr. He goes “purr, purr, purr, purr purr. “ The rubs help him slip into another world, cat dream world I guess. My place gets a little untidy when I’m immersed in writing but it’s always clean, except for when Bud leaves a fur ball someplace. He can’t help himself when he does that. He’s a cat!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! The second book in the Rosemary Butterflies series Blew Me Away! 21 May 2017

Another great read from Rosemary. I loved this book and what a fantastic sequel to “The Secret and the Butterfly.” In this book, I found myself entering the mind of madman David as he plunged down the spiral staircase into insanity. The author does a super job in prying open my mind and holding it open with wonderment.
The writing is very good and the storyline and characters are captivating. And amid the maze of crazy evil that weaves throughout the book, two good people discover that they deeply love each other, no matter what. The obstacles they must overcome include corporate intrigue and risk of loss of their lives. My heart rooted for them the whole way and the outcome of their love was always in doubt.
This is definitely an edge of your seat read with all the twists and turns. A thriller and love story that I would highly recommend reading. A definite 5 star read.
I’m so glad I picked up this awesome read by Rosemary. Hurry up and write your next book, Rosemary; I’m having withdrawals. This book, like the first one in the series, stays with you long after you’ve finished reading it. Good job, Rosemary. Thank you for a great story. Please keep writing.
4.0 out of 5 stars Where Does The Madness End? 18 Mar. 2017
By Ria - Reading Is Our Satisfaction - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
This is the second book in Rosemary's Butterflies Series, and it couldn't have been anymore different from the first. Once again Rosemary's extraordinary writing skills shine in the telling of her tale.

Right from the beginning it is obvious that David has gone comepletely mad! I don't just mean he's a wee bit crazy - no the man is totally insane!!! It is also obvious that Barbara is totally head over heels in love with Bob, why can he not clearly see this? Why do David and Marty want to keep them apart? Is there something evil in their plans?

This book has so many twists and turns in it, that you simply cannot predict what is going to happen next. You will be constantly sitting on the edge of your seat. This is most definitely a book that you cannot put down. So prepare yourself to read it in one session. The story will play on your emotions - fear, anger, anxiety, compassion and love run the gamut of this novel.

I would seriously recommend this book to anyone who loves to get totally lost when reading, but also needs recovery time once it's finished.

Having read " The Secret and the Butterfly " I thought I knew what to expect , well I was blown away !

Within the first few pages I'm convinced David has lost the plot , as in the wheel is turning but the hamster is dead !

The hair on the back of my neck stood up and I could feel the fear and madness . I actually squeaked , yes I kid you not ,I squeaked and on more than 1 ocassion !!!

I'm not often at a loss for words and all I can say is you must read this for yourself and come back to me !
