A shallow and disappointing spin off from the Walking Dead series...this is the first in a series of 'episodes' that take place dying the same timeframe as the TV show's beginning, but following a different group of characters. The concept has potential, but too many irritating characters & one-liners and not enough depth! Won't be buying the next episode, despite my obsession with all things undead!

Bought this for 77p and although it was cheap I will tell you that there is not much reading to it, you could read this in an hour. I have watched all 3 tv series and this kindle episode explains what is going on in the beginning at the hospital while the sheriff is in his coma. It doesn't explain why the virus/zombies became what they are but just that they appeared. It also explains why certain things are there in the tv series like the chained barricaded doors with 'don't open, dead inside' spray painted on them within the hospital and who did this and how others tried to save the sheriff by attempting to wake him up.
I have since bought the next 2 episodes just to see what else happens.

This is a complete rip off using the Walking Dead name. It explains next to nothing about what happened to Rick . It basically starts round about where Shane entered the hospital in the series. Basically don't waste your time the second one is even worse. There are loads of good zombie books out there don't buy this one as one its expensive and two its rubbish

Not worth reading, such a small book, can't really call it a book..it's just a couple of paragraphs, sorry I bought it.

Terrible fanfic. Not worth the asking price in anyway. And don't let the copyright infringement fool you, this has absolutely nothing to do with The Walking Dead. One can only hope the Cease and Desist arrives before Episode 2.

It clears up a bit of as mystery about the walking dead series, it is a bit of the story, but not much,it is worth the pennies, only if you want to know how the sheriff was left behind.

Not at all what I expected, no characters the same as the series, don't know why it was written to be honest! Will not be buying any more of these "books"

If you like the Walking Dead, you'll love this little snip it and the best think is it'll only take you 20 minutes to read!

Not sure it's worth the price though!
