Well I really loved this book and I want to share my appreciation if not shout it from the rooftops!!
Now I read my fair share of adult romance/erotica and the books in this genre which I enjoy most will have a healthy dose of sex laced with an interesting and/or intriguing storyline.
This is where the author can get things wrong - it's easy to write about a perfectly beautiful girl falling for a gorgeous, sexy guy and for them to have hot sex over and over again. However Airicka Phoenix is much better than that!!
First plus point was that the main characters were flawed and had their imperfections....after all you do not have to look like a model to attract a member of the opposite sex and have a healthy sex drive!
Another plus was the dynamic between Alison and Gabriel, who have developed an instant dislike for each other but are forced to work together when she is offered a job at the family garage. I love seeing how attractions can subtely move through the spectrum from loathing to loving.
Now the real 'tour de force' is the whole Voyeur aspect of this book. It is incredibly erotic and adds a really intense sub-plot where Alison is Aoife and Gabriel is Q. Things get more and more tense with anticipation about the truth coming out as we wonder how Gabriel will take it when he learns Alison's secret.
I devoured this book and have leapt right into Airicka's other books. Well done!

I absolutely loved this book :) The banter had me laughing my head off, the leading lady is hilarious!. So well written, it just flowed from start to finish. The sexual tension, which i'm usually not a fan of (i like to get to the sex quickly) did not detract whatsoever from the story, in fact, its what made it. The sex itself is extremely well written and erotic. I'd love it if these characters could continue as a series. Loved it.

Absolutely loved this book.

Both characters are likeable and easy to connect with. Parts of the story had me laughing out loud, which just makes the story all the more interesting.

If you like books with love, lust, alpha hot male with a beautiful HEA...then this is your book.

This book starts of very promising then slows down some. Ali is a funny character who always managed to amuse me. Grumpy man Gabriel has an interesting family that creates some drama for the book. Not the most exciting book in the world but it was enjoyable enough.

Reviewing on behalf of Relentless book chics ramblings and reviews

I loved this story although it wasn’t what I expected it to be from the title. I guess that’s because I have a stereotypical view of what a Voyeur is but after reading this, I’ve learnt that to a degree, I’m a Voyeur too!

Alison is a quirky character and pretty much keeps to herself. Having been brought up by a mother who wasn’t the best role model, in fact, at times she was cruel, she prefers to watch people rather than participate in life. She spends her evenings watching her neighbours in the flats opposite which is so much more entertaining than any soap on TV.

Life starts to look up when she meets a loveable old man called Earl who offers her a job. Unfortunately, she has to work alongside his moody grandson, Gabriel Madoc. My favourite Earl line was “Your stick doesn’t magically get waxed on its own and eventually, you’ll give yourself blisters”.

Gabriel had a bad experience with a woman in his past and since then, he keeps away from women as much as possible. To say Ali and Gabe don’t get along is an understatement, they hate each other! Or do they?

As their relationship develops, there are some hilarious one liners from Ali including “Will your penis convert to a vagina if a woman holds the door open for you?” so I lost count of the number of times I laughed while reading it, I could have highlighted half the book!

The next twist in the tale is when Ali is watching her new neighbour and accidentally catches him pleasuring himself in the bathroom after a shower. He sends her a note which he tosses onto her terrace and that’s when we meet Q. Q only has 3 rules, no names, no faces and no attachments.

I could not wait to get my hands on this book, and it did not disappoint one bit. In fact, it was a constant tease and I could not get enough of it. It seduced me until I was addicted.

There was something very sexy about feeling like a voyeur myself as I got an intimate view into the lives of these characters, and the more I saw the more I wanted to know about them.

I was quite surprised by Ali. She was an introvert but didn’t have any problem telling it like it was, and her extracurricular activities were interesting, especially when she let loose her sexual deviant side. Gabe had so many walls built up around himself but he allowed the fantasy of Aoife to breach those walls, while unknowingly letting Ali in at the same time. I was thoroughly intrigued to find out what secret he was harbouring because it seemed to bring him so much anguish and when it was finally revealed my heart went out to him.

I loved the complexity of the “love triangle” in this story. Here’s Gabe willingly giving himself over to Aoife, while fighting against the feelings developing between him and Ali. It was exciting to watch these relationships develop as the story unfolded until the truth came to light and then I had to wonder if Gabe and Ali would make it through this revelation, or if they’d both be reinforcing their walls to keep the other out.

This was a tantalizing read that left me hot under the collar but more than satisfied.
