Superb piece of kit for £50. I am quite amazed at the build quality and the sound. Very simple to plug and play, excellent and clear controls.

I play a Brian May Burns Red Special and the Brian May pedal through it and the sound is excellent. Decent volume for the size and perfectly usable as a quality practice amp.

What particularly surprised me was the sound of my Aria electro acoustic which sounded almost as good as my 50 watt Laney amp. Very sweet and clean sounding. The clean bluesy sound when playing a strat is also quite lovely.

Would thoroughly recommend. Excellent delivery and packaging. Many thanks
Mike

Completely speechless that this was just 50 quid! When I opened the box and took it out and looked hard, it defies me how they could make such a great looking and sounding amp and sell it so cheap. I put this pathfinder 10 alongside my Marshall MS2 (all plastic, crackly knobs, feels cheap as, cost £28) just to make things even more stark on how good the Vox is. Ok, so it looks great, but how does it sound? Turned it on... nothing. Silence. No hum, no nothing. I genuinely though it was broken, as my expectation of all amps is the usual humming you get, but the PF10 turned on is just silent. After plugging it in and playing on both clean and crunch channels, I still cannot get my breath just how good it is. Just spend some time on it, gently dialing in various tones - it's bloody fantastic! Yes, it's not a tube amp, yes it's not 100 watts and yes, it was made in Vietnam, but quite frankly who cares with something at this price can sound so good. The cleans are brilliant and just throw something like a Boss SD1 or tubescreamer in front of the crunch channel and it sings. Don't worry that there isn't an FX loop, it takes all pedals really well - all modulation effects like chorus and delay don't get muddy at all. My only criticism of this brilliant little thing is that it has no reverb. If it had that, it would have been perfect. But a reverb pedal will come to rescue on that point. For around 50 pounds, this amp has got to be the best of its type around.

No need to argue, Vox is one of the best guitar amplifier manufacturers in the world. You can just ask the musician legends, using it from '60 everywhere in the world. And this small copy of all those famous bigger brothers works great as well.

The grill cloth is cool, it looks like a mini Vox AC-30. Chicken knobs are very comfortable to use and gives quite good precision. The construction of the cabinet is pretty solid, made of real wood. Not too heavy, very easy to carry. It is not noisy at all, the clean channel sounds impressive, very close to tube amp sound. Overdrive is not bad, however you can use any stomp box overdrive or distortion instead. Quality of the speaker is decent, 10 watts is enough for home practising, quite loud. In my opinion it is the best practising amp in this price range.

This guitar amplifier is really compact and small but its sound is great. It's a perfect partner while practicing, loud enough to wake up your neighbors if you want to. The sound you get from both clean and over channels is absolutely British (perfect for bands from the British Invasion). It's cheap, but it's amazing how can it sounds. You could never use this amp in a live show, that's not its purpose, because it hasn't effects or pedal connection, it's just a jamming session amp to use peacefully inside your room, with or without wearing earphones, enjoying yourself while practice those chords over and over. I love it. Cheaper than a Marshall, not so plastic, wich I think is better for my Les Paul Custom.

I was surprised at how well this little amp performs. Obviously at 10W its not the loudest of amps, but it will fill a room with sound easily. The most important (and surprising) thing about the amp is how it sounds, and for being so small this sounds great, even the overdrive is pretty damn good. I would recommend this amp for any beginner or anyone just looking for a small practice amp.

Brilliant little amp good build quality and sound from such a small amp. Tones emitted from this are very good just need a bit of fiddling about with settings but that's the joy of guitar amps. Overall, price wise this was a steal, build quality excellent , sound awesome. 10/10 would reccomend for beginners and intermediate guitar players.

Excellent little practise amp with enough power to play at home and enough features to experiment with. This is just a raw amp with a quality bulldog speaker with no extra models or effects (which is exactly what I was looking for). This allows you to work on your rig without relying on any built-in rubbish which often ends up as a distraction I find. It's loud enough and the overdrive mode allows you to switch between both of Vox's signature British sounds everyone loves. Worth £55 of anyone's money.

Fantastic amp for the money. It's loud for something so small, has excellent tone, versatile and very portable. It also looks great and reminds me of the AC30 Treble Boost I had back in the 70s. Tree cheers for Vox quality and value.
