About the Author

Emily Leah Silverman is a visiting scholar at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA. She holds a Ph.D in Interdisciplinary Studies of Religion from the Graduate Theological Union. Dirk von der Horst is a visiting scholar at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. He holds a doctorate in Theology, Ethics, and Culture from Claremont Graduate University. Whitney Bauman is Assistant Professor of Religion and Science at Florida International University. He is author of 'Theology Creation and Environmental Ethics' (Routledge 2009), and co-editor of 'Grounding Religion: A Field Guide to the Study of Religion and Ecology' (Routledge 2010). He is the Book Review Editor for 'Worldviews: Global Religions, Culture, and Ecology' and serves as the co-Chair of the Religion and Ecology Group at the American Academy of Religion.
