If these voices don't move you to seek Christ and to make your Earthly life count for eternity then there is something wrong with your faith. Great food for deep thought and reflection.

5.0 out of 5 stars voices from eternity 19 July 2001
By donnie jolley - Published on Amazon.com
John Myers has obtained recorded accounts of people on the verge of dying and written the accounts unedited. The stories are so realistic that you are brought to tears and wonder. The time covered goes almost to the time of Christ. I have read the book several times and have loaned to friends only to almost fight to get it back. I would not part with my copy for any money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hope of life after death 24 Mar. 2010
By Jonelle Vargo - Published on Amazon.com

The book has been well documented and showed two different types of death--"hopeful" and "without hope". Various people gave their testimonies of both types of death. This has an important message for all of us today. There are still many skeptical of life after death. This book should help the reader to see the differences between hope and without hope. Read this book with an open mind and be willing to see the messages God wants you to understand and believe. May you receive hope (if you are searching for it) as you read Voices from the Edge of Eternity.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of those 'gets you thinking' books. Comforting and frightening at the same time. 10 May 2013

discovered this book years ago. Wonderful message to the world. Gave it to someone without realizing it was out of print. Panicked
until I thought of Amazon. Have since order several copies through the years, passing them on to others. Always pleased with the service. Very glad to know it is back in publication.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Resource For Those Truly Interested In Historical Evidences 30 Dec. 2013
By J. Thurman - Published on Amazon.com

I still have my original copy that was printed in 1973 as a part of the fifth printing. Its well-worn pages are very dear to me and its one of my top four most prized books I own. This is out of hundreds of books on shelves in my Study that include a number on the topic of: what awaits us beyond death.
I now need several copies without yellowed pages to loan and am buying some now.
Another excellent book I recommend is: Beyond Death's Door, by Dr. Maurice Rawlings. His account is a modern one from an Emergency Room physician that adds important information to this experience we will all face one day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Born-again Christians: ignore negative reviews 9 July 2014
By Maggie Jarpey - Published on Amazon.com

Wouldn't have missed it for the world. Valuable book. It helped me understand the biblical concept of Hell better--not that I could ever totally understand it. But I see now how impossible it is for people to receive God's mercy without wanting to receive God. The people that went to Hell could not bear the thought of being in Heaven if they had to be there with God! They wanted Heaven without Jesus. So why couldn't they just be annihilated? My sister suggested that since God made humans "in His own image" and since He is eternal, they are likewise eternal. That sheds some light on the subject for me. At any rate, there is no third choice for an eternal creature of God--either you live with Him or you live with the consequences of not accepting Him and His love. Accepting His love means you will give Him your love in return. And this must be done as a child loves his or her loving parent, which implies an acceptance of God's superior position to us. The Lord Jesus said, "Unless you become like a little child, you cannot enter Heaven" (Matthew 18:3).
