A great little mini-album. I picked up on Stephen Emmer through the recent collaboration with Glenn Gregory (Untouchable) and started to investigate where he’d come from.

This album came out in 1982, contains 5 instrumental tracks and 2 vocal tracks, courtesy of Billy MacKenzie and Martha Ladley.

It definitely has the feel of an Associates album, which isn’t entirely surprising as Stephen Emmer worked with them in the early 80s. The album has a great pace about it and has some great arrangements. It really grabbed me and I have played it loads.

If you’re a little curious, it is definitely worth investigating.

Looking forward to the International Blue album later this year.
